Menu setup
1. In menu setting, you can set date/time, Brightness, sleep
time, OSD language. Press [VOL+] select.
2. T he date/time will automatically update when the DAB
signal is in service
Indicator lights
1. Up to down: charging indicator, Signal indic ator, Battery
power indic ator (100%-25%)
2. Charging indicator: the [ ] charging indicat or light will flash
red when the crank generator charging the batt ery inside. (the
charging indicator light will change with the charging current)
3. Battery power indicator: the light will flash blue when
charging or discharging. When the battery level ex ceed 25%,
the first blue light (25% position) will change from a flashing
blue light to a constant blue light, then the second light (50%
position) will flashing blue light, And so on until the battery is
fully charged.
When the battery is full, pull out the type-C usb cable, the light
will turn blue for a while, then turn off.
How to use Flashlight
T he flashlight has one high beam and two low beams, when
radio is working, press [light] button onc e to turn on only the
high beam, press again to turn on only the low beams, one
more press will turn on all flashlights, another press again will
then turn off the flashlight.

T he 3.5mm audio output is for connecting a wired headphone

How to use FM radio
1. Press the button[ MODE ] to select FM mode
2. In FM mode, Long press [ MENU ] button to scan all FM
stations.
3. Long press [TUN-] to recall the preset stations, press
[TUN+/TUN-] to select. Press [ VOL+] to confirm.
4. Press [TUN+/TUN-] manually tuning by 0.05MHz step.
5. Long press [TUN+] to store the playing station in preset list,
press [TUN+/TUN-] to select the which slot to preset it in. Press
[VOL+] to add or replace.
6. Press [ MENU ] to enter the FM menu setting.
How to use Bluetooth
1. Press the [ MODE ] button to select BT (Bluetooth) mode
2. Use your smart phones Bluetooth function under settings to
search “ SCD-2033” and pair it
3. Press [TUN+/TUN-] to change the songs
Note: In Bluetooth mode, when there is no signal input, it will
automatically shut down after 5 minutes;
In Bluetooth mode, connect and play music, pause and do not pla y,
(no audio output) it will automatically shut down after 10 minutes.
/earphone. T hen you can hear the song y ou sing via
headphone / earphone.
Note: T o use the flashlight when radio is OFF, press
and hold the [light] button 3 seconds to activ ate the
flashlight.
Charge an external de vice
Insert the USB-A cable end into the USB-A port on
the side of the radio and c onnect to your devic e you
want to charge. T he radio will go int o charge mode
and help to charge your de vice.
Note:
1. T his feature is only for charging the USB devic es
during emergency or outdoors, don’t use it as a
normal power bank
Power the radio
Before pow ering the radio, make sure y ou read the safety
instructions.
(A) By USB power source
It is recommended to complet ely charge the battery first
before using the radio. Po wer off the radio and c onnect the
USB type-C cable (included) to the charging port on the radio
and connect the other end of the cable t o a computer, laptop
or a mobile phone charger DC 5V. T he battery power indic ator
lights will flash blue as the battery charges, then pull out the
Type-C USB c able when the battery is fully charged. The pow er
indicator light will turn blue for a while, then off.
ASA Operation:
When radio is first pow ered up it will enter DAB mode and
automatically scan f or stations which it adds to its station list
and store the stations that support ASA. T he software could
monitor the ASA alert on the tuned DAB ensemble or other
DAB ensembles on the service list, under DAB rec eiving mode
and standby mode. T he radio will automatic ally switch to the
ASA alert channel and provide an on screen notific ation that
an alert has triggered. T he software returns to the previous
DAB station after the alert is finished, dismissed or stopped.

(B) Hand crank dynamo
T he radio can also be charged b y turning the handle on the
back of the device and activ ating the dynamo.
1. T he handle can be turned either clockwise or anticlockwise.
T he [ ] charging indicator light up when the handle is being
turned
2. Spin the handle for 3-5 minutes at the speed of 130-150PPM
when using it for the first time.
Note: 10 min hand cranking can giv e up to 20 mins of FM or
DAB radio at lo w-medium volume. Again depending on ho w
many features are in use.
(C) Solar powered
T he radio can also be charged b y the solar panel on the top of
the device, try to place the de vice in clear sunlight to let it
charge as eciently as possible
1. T he charging effect depends on the strength of the sun’s
rays, T he stronger the light, the better the effect.
2. Kindly remind that it’s dicult to fully charge the unit with
the solar panel, which is mostly used for maintaining the
battery.
Earphone jack
Y ou can insert the 3.5mm earphone jack to enjoy leisure time
listening to the radio.
How to use SOS alarm
If you press and hold the SOS button at this time, the alarm
sound will still be emitted from the speaker, A t the same time,
the flashlight flashes an SOS Morse code signal.
How to use DAB r adio
1. Press and hold the [ ] button for 3 seconds to turn on the
radio into standby mode, screen will displa y date and clock.
2. Press the [ ] button again to turn on the radio.
3. Press the [ MODE ] button to select DAB mode.
4. In DAB mode, Long press [ MENU ] button to sc an all DAB
stations, short press [TUN+] or [TUN-] to change stations.
Long press [TUN+] to store the playing station in the preset list,
press [TUN+/TUN-] to select the which slot to preset it in. T here
are 30 preset stations to select, press [ VOL+] to sav e your select.
6. Long press [TUN-] to recall the preset stations, press
[TUN+/TUN-] to select station name, press [ VOL+] to confirm
your choice and listen t o your pre-listed stations.
7. Press [ MENU ] to enter the DAB menu setting.
