    • Je moet in je Internet Browser 192.168.0.1 Typen, en als die een wachtwoord vraagt dan is standaard Gebruikersnaam: admin en wachtwoord: admin

  • Ik heb een website gebouwd op een locale PC. Via localhost kan ik de website zien. Bij Dyndns heb ik een naam gekregen die ik koppel aan mijn dynamisch adres. Dyndns kan de server zien, de verbinding is open. Echter als ik via mijn webnaam probeer de website te lzen krijg ik "kan de pagina 'Klik op deze LINK' niet openen omdat er geen verbinding met de server 'spvdijk.dnsalias.com' tot stand kan worden gebracht." Welke settings heb ik nodig?
    1) onder "toolbox => DDNS "
    2) onder "advanced settings => port forwarding"
    3) onder "advanced settings => virtual server"

    Welke combinaties ik ook probeer, ik krijg geen verbinding met met website via de dynnamische hosting. Gesteld op 1-4-2010 om 17:08

    • De fout zit in het ontbreken van een dns server. Deze kan op twee manieren gemaakt worden. De eerste is een echte dns server aanmaken op hte loakle net. Ik weet nog niet hoe dat precies moet worden uitgevoerd. Een andere mogelijkheid is om op een lokale pc, diegene waar de website staat een "vertaler" te creeren. Ergens in je operating systeem is een directory waarin je een bestandje kan zetten, dat vertalingen maakt van ip nummers naar namen en omgekeerd.

      Are the machines on your lan assigned their IP addresses via DHCP or have you configured each machine's IP address manually?

      If you've configured the network interfaces for them manually then you can match each machine's IP address to it's name in the 'hosts' file on each system. In Linux this is:

      /etc/hosts

      and on a Windows XP Home system I have here it's:

      C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

      In that file, and below the line that says:

      127.0.0.1 localhost

      add the IP addresses and names for your other systems, so it looks something like:

      127.0.0.1 localhost
      10.0.0.10 tom
      10.0.0.20 dick
      10.0.0.30 harry

      etc.

      Of course, you need to use the actual IP addresses and names from your lan.
