General Information
The ex
30
pedometer detects acceleration in each of the 3 axis and therefore, the
position/direction of the unit is not crucial as long as it stays still and does not
swing. The pedometer is not waterproof – therefore keep it dry and treat it
carefully. The pedometer does not have an ON/OFF button, as the power
consumption when not in use is extremely low.
Step filter function
The pedometer has a filter function that prevents the accidental registration of
steps when standing still or when making short movements that are not part of
the walk/run. For correct step counting, the pedometer uses a 10 second filter.
This means that the pedometer must be used for 10 seconds before the number of
steps is updated on the display.
Wearing the pedometer
The ex
30
pedometer can be worn around the neck or can be stored in your pocket
or bag. The lanyard features a quick release that prevents strangling if the
pedometer is worn around the neck.
Battery
This pedometer is powered by a Lithium CR2032 battery. Change the battery when
the display begins to dim. The battery is located under the battery lid on the back.

Power savings
To save power, the pedometer’s LCD will go to standby mode after having been
idle for 80 seconds. The LCD will come to life again by pressing any button or
when movement is registered.
Functions
Main functions
Press the MODE button to browse through the following functions, see image 2:
• Step counting, STP is shown on the display
• Distance measurement, KM or MIL is shown on the display
• Calorie measurement, CAL is shown on the display
• Step barometer
• Activity timer, TMR is shown on the display. The timer starts counting when
movement is detected.

Seven day memory
The last seven days in the memory are accessible from the pedometer
(accumulated day-by-day).
Press and hold MODE to enter the memory function.
Press MODE to select the day.
Press SET to toggle between steps, distance and calories on the selected day.
The data in the memory is stored at midnight every day and the pedometer is
automatically reset.
Step Barometer function
In the lower left or higher right part of the display there is a “Step Barometer
Function” that helps you obtain a healthier lifestyle by walking 10,000 steps per
day. This Barometer is based on the last 7 days from the 30 day memory in the
pedometer and shows your daily average on the display. Each box in the
barometer is equal to an average of 1,666 steps.

Resetting the pedometer
Press and hold the MODE and SET buttons simultaneously to reset the counter.
Personal settings
Setting distance and weight units
The Pedometer’s default setting is metric (Km for distance, cm for stride length
and kg for body weight). This can be changed to Imperial (miles, inch and lb).
Press the SET and MODE button simultaniously to reset the data, and then
continue pressing the buttons for 5 seconds to change between metric and
imperial. This can be done from all modes except from the Clock Mode.
Calculating stride length
Personal stride length and weight settings are needed in order to get accurate
values of distance and consumed calories.
Set the stride length by walking 10 steps and then measure that distance. Divide
the distance by 10 to find your stride length.
Setting stride length (30-240cm)
The default setting is 75cm (30 inches).
Press MODE until the text KM appears in the display.
Press and hold SET until the current stride length starts to flash.
Press MODE repeatedly to increase the stride length to the desired value
(increases by 1 cm per press, or 1 inch if MIL is selected).
Press and hold MODE and the stride length value will increase faster.
Once the stride length is set, the pedometer automatically returns to distance
mode after 5 seconds or by pressing SET.
Setting body weight (30-135 kg)
The default setting is 45kg (100lb).
Press MODE repeatedly until CAL is shown on the display.
Press and hold SET and the current body weight will be displayed.
Press MODE repeatedly to increase the body weight to the desired value
(increases by 1 kg per press, or 1 lb if MIL is selected).
Press and hold MODE and the body weight value will increase faster.
Once the body weight is set, the pedometer automatically returns to calorie mode
after 5 seconds or by pressing SET.
Setting time
Correctly setting the time is essential for an accurate memory function.
Press the MODE button repeatedly until AM or PM is shown on the display.
Press and hold the SET button until the time flashes.
Press MODE to change from the 12 to 24 hour formats. Press SET to confirm the
time format.
Press MODE to set the hours.
Press SET to switch to minute format and press MODE to change the minutes.
Press SET or wait 5 seconds to confirm the settings.

Make sure to have your proof of purchase on hand when returning the product.

-pedometern registrerar acceleration i var och en av de 3 axlarna och därför
är inte enhetens position/riktning betydelsefull så länge som den är stilla och inte
gungar. Pedometern är inte vattentät – behandla den därför varsamt. Pedometern
är inte försedd med en ON/OFF-knapp eftersom energiförbrukningen är extremt
låg när den inte är i bruk.
Stegfilterfunktion
Pedometern har en filterfunktion som förhindrar oönskad registrering av steg när
du står stilla eller när du gör korta rörelser som inte är en del av promenaden/
löpningen. Pedometern använder ett 10-sekunders filter för korrekt stegräkning.
Detta betyder att pedometern måste användas i 10 sekunder innan antalet steg
uppdateras på displayen.

Halssnodden är försedd med en snabburkoppling som förhindrar strypning när
pedometern bärs runt halsen.
Batteri
Denna pedometer drivs med ett Litium CR2032-batteri. Byt batteriet när tecknen
på displayen börjar bli svaga. Batteriet finner du under batterilocket på

Definição das unidades de distância e de peso
A definição por omissão do pedómetro é métrica (km para distância e cm para
comprimento da passada e kg para peso corporal). Isto pode ser alterado para o
sistema imperial (milhas, polegadas e libras).

distância. Divida a distância por 10 para achar o seu comprimento de passada.

detecta a aceleração em cada um dos 3 eixos e portanto a
posição/direcção da unidade não é essencial desde que ele fique fixo e não
balance. O pedómetro não é à prova de água – portanto trate-o com cuidado. O
pedómetro não tem um botão de ligar/desligar, dado que, quando não estiver em
uso, o consumo de energia é extremamente baixo.
Função de filtro de passos
O pedómetro tem uma função de filtro, que impede o registo acidental de passos
quando parado ou quando houver pequenos movimentos acidentais que não
sejam parte da caminhada/corrida. Para uma contagem correcta de passos o
pedómetro usa um filtro de 10 segundos. Isto significa que será necessário usar o
pedómetro durante dez segundos até que o número de passos seja actualizado no
mostrador.

pode ser usado à volta do pescoço ou guardado no bolso ou
mochila. O fio de pescoço tem uma abertura rápida que evita o estrangulamento
no caso de o pedómetro ser usado à volta do pescoço.
Bateria
Este pedómetro é alimentado por uma bateria de lítio CR2032. Mude a bateria
quando o mostrador desvanecer. A bateria está localizada sob a tampa da bateria
na parte de trás. Ver a imagem 1.

Economia de energia
Para economizar energia o LCD do pedómetro passará a modo espera depois de
ficar inactivo durante 80 segundos. O LCD despertará novamente premindo
qualquer botão ou quando for registado movimento.

Geheugen van zeven dagen
De gegevens van de laatste zeven dagen kan u via de geheugenfunctie bekijken.
(gegevens per dag).
MODE ingedrukken om naar de geheugenfunctie te gaan.
Druk op MODE om een dag te selecteren.
Druk op SET om te wisselen tussen de gegevens (stappen, afstand en calorieën)
op de geselecteerde dag.
De gegevens worden dagelijks om middernacht in het geheugen opgeslagen en de
stappenteller wordt automatisch gereset.
Stappenbarometerfunctie
Linksonder of rechtsboven in het display staat een “stappenbarometer” die u
helpt een gezonder leven te leiden door 10.000 stappen per dag te zetten. Deze
barometer is gebaseerd op de gegevens uit het geheugen van de laatste 7 dagen
en toont uw dagelijkse gemiddelde op de display. Elk blokje in de barometer is
gelijk aan een gemiddelde van 1666 stappen.

De stappenteller resetten
Druk tegelijk op de knoppen MODE en SET om de teller te resetten.
Persoonlijke instellingen
Afstand- en gewichtseenheden instellen
De standaardinstelling van de stappenteller is metrisch (km voor afstand, cm voor
paslengte en kg voor lichaamsgewicht). Dit kan worden gewijzigd naar het
imperiale stelsel (mijl, in en lb.).
Druk tegelijk op de knoppen SET en MODE om de gegevens te resetten, en houdt
de knoppen vervolgens 5 seconden ingedrukt om te wisselen tussen het
metrische en imperiale stelsel. Deze bewerking kunt u uitvoeren in alle modi
behalve in de klokmodus.
Paslengte berekenen
Persoonlijke instellingen van paslengte en gewicht zijn noodzakelijk om
nauwkeurige waarden voor afstand en verbruikte calorieën te verkrijgen.
Stel de paslengte in door 10 stappen te zetten en vervolgens deze afstand te
meten. Deel de afstand door 10 om uw paslengte te vinden.
Paslengte instellen (30-240 cm)
De standaardinstelling is 75 cm (30 in).
Druk op MODE tot de tekst KM op de display verschijnt.
Houdt SET ingedrukt; de huidige paslengte begint te knipperen.
Druk herhaaldelijk op MODE om de paslengte te verhogen tot de gewenste
waarde (bij elke druk verhoogt de waarde met 1 cm, of 1 in indien MIL is
geselecteerd).
Houdt MODE ingedrukt om de waarde van de paslengte sneller te verhogen.
Nadat de paslengte is ingesteld, keert de stappenteller na 5 seconden
automatisch terug naar de afstandsmodus. U kan ook drukken op SET.
Lichaamsgewicht instellen (30-135 kg)
De standaardinstelling is 45 kg (100 lb.).
Druk herhaaldelijk op MODE tot CAL op de display wordt getoond.
Houdt SET ingedrukt om het huidige lichaamsgewicht weer te geven.
Druk herhaaldelijk op MODE om het lichaamsgewicht te verhogen tot de gewenste
waarde (bij elke druk verhoogt de waarde met 1 kg, of 1 lb. indien MIL is
geselecteerd).
Houdt MODE ingedrukt om de waarde van het lichaamsgewicht sneller te verhogen.
Nadat het lichaamsgewicht is ingesteld, keert de stappenteller na 5 seconden
automatisch terug naar de caloriemodus. U kan ook drukken op SET.
Tijd instellen
Voor de nauwkeurigheid van de geheugenfunctie is het essentieel dat de tijd
correct ingesteld wordt.
Druk herhaaldelijk op de knop MODE tot AM of PM op de display wordt getoond.
Houdt de knop SET ingedrukt tot de tijd knippert.
Druk op MODE om te wisselen tussen de 12- en 24-uursaanduiding. Druk op SET
om de tijdnotatie te bevestigen.
Druk op MODE om het uur in te stellen.
Druk op SET om over te schakelen naar de minutenaanduiding en druk op MODE
om de minuten te wijzigen.
Druk op SET of wacht 5 seconden om de instellingen te bevestigen.
