To avoid damage or danger by improper use, this instruction manual should be read and followed carefully.
If you give the appliance to other persons, also supply them with this instruction manual. Safe the instruction
manual together with the guarantee card and receipt for further reference.
Intended use: This appliance is suited for casually sealing and vacuuming of food, coins, documents. Use the
appliance for domestic purposes only. The appliance is not suited for commercial use or regular use. The
appliance is not suited for outdoor use. The safeguards must be followed closely and the appliance has to be
used in the way indicated in the instruction manual. In case of damage and accidents caused by not following
this instruction manual the manufacturer assumes no liability.
• Before first use ensure that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating plate of the
appliance. Connect this appliance to a plug which is wired according to the regulations (220-240V~, AC)
only to avoid damage or overheating.
• Run the cable in a way that nobody can stumble over it or pull on it. Use extension cord which corresponds
to the technical requirements of this appliance if necessary only.
• Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it to avoid damage. Ensure that the cable
never comes into contact with sharp edges and hot objects.
• The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control
system.
• Always abide by specified short term operation regulations of this appliance. After 11 seconds
of sealing operation allow the bag sealer to cool down for 80 seconds.
• Never leave the appliance unsupervised when connected to the mains.
• Always unplug if thew appliance is not in use. Never pull the cord, but take the plug and pull it.
• An electric appliance is no toy! Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Explain to your children all risks which can be caused by electric current:
- Danger caused by hot or sharp edged or moving parts of the appliance
- Danger caused by heat generation
- Danger caused by electric current
