Fixed for Maginon WK4HD (nr 8893), I think. Got this camera given by my parents. With forgotten Password.. The video's method did not work for me - slightly different model. So, I got into the unit by: connecting USB to Computer (Windows10 - you can read from SD card). Then after disconnecting, switch to Setup mode. This got me into the Setup Menu! (circumventing the password). I assume that is due to sloppy programming. I was able to do that twice. Then go to Setup and switch Off the pesky Password (or see what the Password actually is). Now, my description of 'unplug from usb, then go to Stup' may not be the EXACT procedure you need to do. Maybe I went to Off first, then Setup, forgot now sorry. But give this a go!
