- When the batteries are inserted, the charger carries out a test automatical-
ly. If a battery is no longer rechargeable with the charger, the charge status
LED „CHARGE“ will flash redabove the corresponding compartment. This
also applies if a primary battery or different sorts of batteries have been
inserted together unintentionally. In the former case, remove the defective
battery/batteries from the P-100 and dispose of them according to the
statutory regulations. In the latter cases, insert batteries of the same kind in
pairs.
- If there are no problems with the batteries, the charger automatically
switches on to rapid charging. The charge status LED „CHARGE“ indicates
this with a red light for each battery pair. The charger adapts the charging
current automatically to the inserted batteries.
- After the batteries have been fully charged, the charger will switch automat-
ically to cyclical maintenance charging. The charge status LED „READY“
indicates this with a green light.
- The batteries can be removed from the P-100 and are ready for use. How-
ever, it is not necessary to remove the batteries from the charger after
charging is completed (LED „READY“ shows green light). The minus delta V
cut-off and the maintenance charging (trickle charging) prevent overcharg-
ing of the batteries.
Charging 9V block batteries
9V block batteries are charged by 16mA continuous charging without cut-off.
The charging time of the batteries is based upon the capacity of the inserted
batteries. To calculate the charging time, the following formula can be used:
Charging time is equal to capacity divided by the charging current.
Example: Battery capacity = 250mAh, charging current = 16mA
Charging time = 250mAh / 16mA
Charging time = 15.6 hours
Insert one or two 9V block batteries in the P-100. The charge status LED „9V“
lights red to indicate charging.
The P-100 can charge up to two 9V block batteries at a time and two or four
AA (mignon)/AAA (micro) batteries. It is not necessary to charge 9V block bat-
teries in pairs.

Elimination des accumulateurs usagés
Le consommateur final est légalement tenu (ordonnance relative à l’élimi-
nation des piles usagées) de rapporter toutes les piles et tous les accumula-
teurs usagés ; il est interdit de les jeter dans les ordures ménagères !
Les piles et accumulateurs qui contiennent des substances toxi-
ques sont caractérisés par les symboles ci-contre, qui indiquent
l’interdiction de les jeter dans les ordures ménagères. Les désig-
nations pour le métal lourd prépondérant sont : Cd = cadmium,
Hg = mercure, Pb = plomb. Vous pouvez rapporter gratuitement
vos piles et accumulateurs usagés aux centres de récupération de
votre commune, à nos succursales ou à tous les points de vente
de piles et d’accumulateurs.
Description du produit
Le P-100 est un chargeur universel permettant le chargement rapide et sûr
d’accumulateurs NiCd/NiMH de type Mono, Baby, Mignon et Micro et de blocs
accumulateurs NiCd/NiMh 9 V. 2 ou 4 accumulateurs, de même capacité et
état de charge, peuvent être chargés à 100 % de leur capacité. La coupure par
delta V négatif déclenchée par le processeur avec timer de sécurité, l’adapta-
tion automatique du courant de charge, le système de polarisation ainsi que de
détection d’erreur/de défectuosité au niveau des accumulateurs assurent un
chargement sûr et précautionneux. Une détérioration ou une surcharge des
accumulateurs est ainsi pratiquement impossible.
Le P-100, grâce au bloc d’alimentation fourni et à l’adaptateur allume-cigare 12
V, peut être utilisé aussi bien en voiture qu’à la maison.
