HOW TO FLY YOUR HELI CAGE™
3. IS YOUR HELICOPTER FLYING OUT OF CONTROL?
2. SET FREQUENCY –
To do this, you must check which frequency letter your helicopter is set at. Turn over the helicopter and you will find a letter
(A,B,C) on the bottom. Set the band selector on your controller to the same letter by moving the horizontal switch.
Things to remember:
1. The helicopter will have 4-6 minutes of flight time after charging over 30 minutes.
2. Before you recharge the battery, wait 10-15 minutes to let the battery cool down.
If your helicopter spirals to the RIGHT or KEEPS TURNING RIGHT, push the LEFT side of the trim REPEATEDLY until the turning
stops and the helicopter flies straight.
If your helicopter spirals to the LEFT or KEEPS TURNING LEFT, push the RIGHT side of the trim REPEATEDLY until the turning stops
and the helicopter flies straight.

1. CHECK LOCATION –
Fly in a wide-open room away from breakable items. Avoid flying near vents and/or fans, as these may overpower the Heli Cage™
and make it difficult to control. NOTE: Always get permission to fly your Heli Cage™ indoors.
a
CAUTION: Never fly near your face. Keep rotor away from your fingers, hair, eyes and other body parts. Always lift off from a flat surface. Never hold the flying
heli in your hand when lifting off. DO NOT launch heli near people or animals. Stay away from obstacles and electrical hazards.

STEP ONE STEP TWO STEP THREE STEP FOUR
1. Open the battery door with a screwdriver (pic.1). 2. If used batteries are present, remove these batteries from the unit by pulling up on one end of each
battery. 3. Install new batteries as shown in the polarity diagram (+/-) inside the battery compartment (pic.2). 4. Replace battery door securely (pic.3).
5. Check your local laws and regulations for correct recycling and/or battery disposal.
Slide back the cover and gently
remove the charging wire – it is
attached to the controller.
Turn off the power to the
helicopter located on the
side of the helicopter.
Insert the charge plug into
the charge port on the bottom
of the helicopter.
Turn the controller to the CHG/ON position. Green
charging light and Red Power
light both ON when charging.
The Green charge light goes
OFF when helicopter is
fully charged. Once charged,
pull the charge plug out of the
helicopter and store in controller.
NOTE: Red Power light flashes
when batteries are weak and
should be replaced.
It is normal for your helicopter to spin out of control – it simply needs to be trimmed every time it starts to spin. Trimming adjusts the rotors in order to make
the helicopter fly straight again. To begin, gently raise your helicopter to about face level.

Hover up and down:
When the helicopter flies steadily, you can slowly push the throttle lever up
to make the helicopter fly higher, or release the lever a bit to make the
helicopter fly lower. Only small amounts of lever position change are
required for smooth flying (pic.4 & pic.5).
Turn counterclockwise and clockwise:
Hold the helicopter at a height. Push the direction lever toward the left to
turn counterclockwise (pic.6), or push the direction lever toward the right
to turn clockwise (pic.7).

forward movement button and forward turbo movement button at the same
time to make the helicopter fly forward continuously (pic.10).
Accelerates & Decelerates:
If you turn the helicopter slowly counterclockwise, the helicopter will
decelerate. And when you turn it clockwise, it will accelerate.

MAIN ROTOR GUARDS
HOW TO FIX YOUR MAIN ROTOR/FLY BAR LINKAGE:
If the linkage between your fly bar and top main rotor comes undone and is dangling below
the rotor, or the connecting bar is broken or lost, it is very EASY to fix (A)!
Carefully re-attach the connecting bar back onto the rotor and gently push it into place (B).
If broken or lost replace the same way.
While you’re there, you might want to check around the area for any fibres or debris that
might affect your flight performance. Carefully remove it with tweezers and you are ready to
start flying again!

4. FLIGHT CONTROL (After Trimming)
- Put the helicopter on a smooth surface. An uneven floor surface will affect its ability to lift off. - Slowly push the left control stick up from the minimum control
position. - DO NOT look at the controller/charger but focus on the helicopter. - As soon as the helicopter leaves the ground, move the left control stick back
slightly as necessary to maintain altitude. In the worst case scenario, the helicopter will drop back to the floor, but that is better than crashing against the ceiling.
- VERY gently move the left control stick up if helicopter goes down. - VERY gently move the left control stick down if helicopter goes up.
a WARNING: IF ROTOR(S) BECOME DAMAGED OR BROKEN, DO NOT FLY.
FLYING WITH BROKEN ROTOR(S) MAY CAUSE DAMAGE OR LEAD TO INJURY.
