EN Hair iron
User'smanual
■ Prior to using this appliance, please read the user'smanual thoroughly, even in cases,
when one has already familiarised themselves with previous use of similar types of
appliances. Only use the appliance in the manner described in this user’smanual.
Keep this user'smanual in asafe place where it can be easily retrieved for future use.
In the event that you hand this appliance over to somebody else, make sure to also
include this user'smanual.
■ We recommend saving the original cardboard box, packaging material, purchase
receipt and responsibility statement of the vendor or warranty card for at least the
duration of the legal liability for unsatisfactory performance or quality. In the event
of transportation, we recommend that you pack the appliance in the original box
from the manufacturer.
■ Carefully unpack the appliance and take care not to throw away any part of the
packaging before you find all the parts of the appliance.

PURPOSE OF USE AND FEATURES OF THE HAIR IRON
■ The hair iron is intended exclusively for straightening, undulating and styling
human hair. It must never be used for styling wigs, hairpieces, synthetic hair or for
straightening animal fur.
■ The iron is equipped with an automatic safety shut-off function, that turns it off after
60minutes of inactivity.
■ The surface of the ironing plates is coated with titanium and enables operating
temperatures from 100 °C to 230 °C. The temperature can be controlled in
10°Cincrements.
APPLICATION
TURNING ON AND SETTING THE TEMPERATURE
■ Connect the iron to apower socket. The display A4 will show OFF.
■ Press button A7. The appliance will beep, the default temperature of 180°C will be
lit on the display and the iron will start heating up.
■ The temperature can be adjusted in 10-degree increments in the range from
100°Cto 230°Cusing buttons A5 (+) andA6 (-).
■ Holding down button A5 (+) for longer than 3 seconds, will automatically skip to
atemperature of 230°C.
Note:
If "888" appears on the display, this indicates that there is amalfunction of
the heat sensor or iron. If this happens, disconnect the iron from the power
grid and contact aservice centre.
TEMPERATURE LOCK FUNCTION
■ This function prevents accidental changes to the temperature while the iron is being
used. Activate the function by holding down button A6 for longer than 3seconds.
The text LOC will appear on the display and the set temperature will be locked, i.e.
no button will react when pressed.
■ Deactivate the function by holding down button A6 for longer than 3seconds. The
text LOC will disappear.
AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF FUNCTION
■ If no action is taken after turning on the iron, i.e. no button is pressed, then for safety
reasons, the iron will turn off automatically after 60minutes of inactivity. It will start
again after button A7 is pressed.
Attention:
The automatic shut-off is intended only for cases, where you
forget to turn off the iron using button A7. Do not use the
automatic shut-off to intentionally turn off the iron.
TEMPERATURE DEPENDING ON HAIR TYPE
■ The suitable temperature for straightening hair depends on the hair structure.
Depending on the type of hair, an incorrectly selected temperature may cause the
hair to dry out, become brittle or in the worst case to burn. Therefore, first try ironing
at alow temperature (100°C) and set ahigher temperature only when necessary.
■ The information contained in the following table is for reference purposes only. It
may differ depending on hair type.

Fine, damaged, discoloured, highlighted or dyed hair 100 °Cto 150 °C
Normal, lightly wavy hair 150 °Cto 190 °C
Very heavy, curly, unyielding hair 190 °Cto 230 °C
USING THE ATTACHMENTS
ATTACHING AND REMOVING THE ATTACHMENTS
■ Attachments A11 to A14 are an excellent aid for styling your hair and can be
combined as necessary.
■ Simply slide the selected attachment into the groove A2 in the arms of the iron all
the way in,see fig. C. ATTENTION – one type of attachment must always be inserted
on the same side of the iron, i.e. the top and bottom attachment must correspond.
The only exception are attachments A14, which are inserted into the grooves so that
they cover the top side of each arm of the iron.
■ After use, simply slide the individual attachments out of the grooves A2.
Attention:
Argan oil can only be used according to the procedure
described in this user'smanual.
Only apply argan oil to hair using the tank in the attachment,
never apply it directly.
USING THE HAIR OILING ATTACHMENT
■ The hair oiling attachment A13 consists of aholder B1 and aslide-out tank B2. To fill
the tank, it is necessary to slide it out of the holder.
■ Flip open the plug B3 and, through the filling opening B4, fill the tank with the
supplied argan oil or with your own hair oil with which you have the best experience.
It is not recommended to fill the tank up to mark B6.
Attention:
Prior to sliding attachments on or off, the iron must be turned
off and cooled down.
■ After filling the tank, thoroughly wipe away any spilled oil and slide it back into the
holder.
Note:
When storing attachments A13 with tanks containing oil, place them in
such away that the part with the filter from which oil comes out is pointing
upwards. Otherwise, oil will leak out and can soil the location where the
attachment is stored.
PROCEDURE FOR IRONING HAIR
■ Wash your hair thoroughly, dry it completely and brush through thoroughly so that
it is smooth and without knots.
■ Separate this prepared hair using clips into equally wide strands (about 5cm wide).
■ Start to iron the back part of the head at the lower strands of hair – at the root place
the strand of hair between the plates and gently press the handle of the iron. With
asliding motion pull the iron all the way to the ends of the hair.
■ Repeat the procedure for the same strand of hair until you achieve the desired
appearance.
■ Continue in the same way with the remaining strands of hair (first on the front part
of the head and ending at the sides).
■ Before the final combing, allow the hair to fully cool down.
Attention:
Do not touch the ironing plates or the attachments - there
is adanger of burns!
Do not leave the iron in the one spot for longer than
5seconds as hair could be burnt.
Use the iron only on healthy hair. Do not use the iron on oily,
stuck together or sweaty hair. On perm or coloured hair only
use the iron infrequently.
Tip:
Adjust the speed of movement of the iron on the hair strands according
to their character (fine hair is more sensitive to a hot surface and
requires asignificantly shorter ironing time than stronger hair).
TURNING OFF THE IRON
■ When you have finished ironing, turn off the iron by holding down button A7.
Abeep will be made and the display will show OFF.
■ Disconnect the iron from the power socket.
Attention:
Allow the iron and attachments to fully cool down before
storing!
