Turn down the

You can mix stereo
audio from AUX IN
with the output.
The ME-70 has no built-in amp or speakers. To hear sounds,
you'll need to provide a guitar amplier, stereo headphones,
or other such equipment.
For mono output, connect the cable to just the L/MONO jack.
To send the output from the REC OUT/PHONES jack to a
recorder or the like, use a special cable (PCS-31L, etc.; sold
separately). If you use an ordinary guitar cable, only the
left-channel audio is output.
Be sure to use a PSA
series adaptor. The use
of any other adaptor
may cause malfunction.
Inserting a plug into the REC OUT/PHONES jack
automatically activates the built-in guitar-amp
simulator, enabling you to enjoy impressive guitar
sound even with headphones.
The same eect is applied to Gt. AMP OUTPUT at
this time, too.
When you're performing using a guitar amp
connected to Gt. AMP OUTPUT, disconnect the
plug from the REC OUT/PHONES jack.
When turning the unit upside-down, get a bunch of newspapers or magazines, and place them under
the four corners or at both ends to prevent damage to the buttons and controls. Also, you should try to
orient the unit so no buttons or controls get damaged.
When turning the unit upside-down, handle with care to avoid dropping it, or allowing it to fall or tip over.
Carefully follow the installation instructions for batteries, and make sure you observe the correct polarity.
Avoid using new batteries together with used ones. In addition, avoid mixing dierent types of batteries.
Remove the batteries whenever the unit is to remain unused for an extended period of time.
If a battery has leaked, use a soft piece of cloth or paper towel to wipe all remnants of the discharge
from the battery compartment. Then install new batteries. To avoid inammation of the skin, make sure
that none of the battery discharge gets onto your hands or skin. Exercise the utmost caution so that
none of the discharge gets near your eyes. Immediately rinse the aected area with running water if
any of the discharge has entered the eyes.
Never keep batteries together with metallic objects such as ballpoint pens, necklaces, hairpins, etc.
Once the connections have been completed, turn on power to your various devices in
the order specied. By turning on devices in the wrong order, you risk causing malfunction
and/or damage to speakers and other devices.
To prevent malfunction and/or damage to speakers or other devices, always turn down the
volume, and turn o the power on all devices before making any connections.
Raise the amp volume only after turning on the power to all connected devices.
This unit is equipped with a protection circuit. A brief interval (a few seconds) after power up is
required before the unit will operate normally.
When connection cables with resistors are used, the volume level of equipment connected to
the inputs (AUX IN) may be low. If this happens, use connection cables that do not contain resistors.
Expected battery life under continuous use: Carbon: 5 hours, Alkaline: 12 hours
These gures will vary depending on the actual conditions of use.
When operating on battery power only, the unit's indicator will become dim when battery power gets too low.
Replace the battery as soon as possible.
We recommend that you keep batteries installed in the unit even when you're powering it with the AC adaptor.
That way, you’ll be able to continue a performance even if the cord of the AC adaptor gets accidently disconnected from the unit.
To prevent the inadvertent disruption of power to your
unit (should the plug be pulled out accidentally), and to
avoid applying undue stress to the AC adaptor jack, anchor
the power cord using the cord hook, as shown in the
illustration.

• Sluit dit apparaat niet aan op een
stopcontact dat tegelijkertijd door een
elektrisch apparaat wordt gebruikt dat
door een signaalomzetter (zoals een
koelkast, wasmachine, microgolfoven of
airconditioner) wordt bestuurd of dat een
motor bevat. Afhankelijk van de manier
waarop elektrische apparaten worden
gebruikt, kan ruis van de
stroomvoorziening defecten aan dit
apparaat of hoorbare ruis veroorzaken. Als
het niet praktisch is om een apart
stopcontact te gebruiken, plaats dan een
ruisfilter voor de stroomvoorziening tussen
dit toestel en het stopcontact.

• De netstroomadapter kan warm worden na
enkele uren ononderbroken gebruik. Dit is
normaal en geen reden tot bezorgdheid.

• Het gebruik van een netstroomadapter
wordt ten zeerste aanbevolen omdat het
apparaat behoorlijk veel stroom verbruikt.
Als u liever batterijen gebruikt, gebruikt u
best alkalinebatterijen.

Plaatsing

• Als u het apparaat gebruikt in de buurt van
eindversterkers (of andere apparatuur met
grote eindversterkers) kan er gezoem
ontstaan. Om het probleem te verhelpen
kunt u het apparaat opnieuw richten of
verder van de storingsbron plaatsen.

• Dit apparaat kan radio- en
televisieontvangst verstoren. Gebruik dit
apparaat niet in de buurt van dergelijke
ontvangers.

• Ruis kan ontstaan als draadloze
communicatieapparaten, zoals gsm’s, in de
buurt van dit apparaat worden gebruikt.
Dergelijke ruis kan ontstaan als een oproep
wordt ontvangen of gemaakt of tijdens
gesprekken. Verplaats dergelijke apparaten
zodat ze zich op een grotere afstand van dit
apparaat bevinden of schakel ze uit als u
dergelijke problemen ervaart.

• Bij verplaatsing van een locatie naar een
andere waar de temperatuur en/of
vochtigheid sterk verschilt, kunnen er
waterdruppels (condens) gevormd worden
in het apparaat. Er kunnen schade of
defecten ontstaan als u het apparaat in
deze toestand gebruikt. Voordat u het
apparaat gebruikt, laat u het enkele uren
liggen totdat de condens volledig is
verdampt.

• Afhankelijk van het materiaal en de
temperatuur van het oppervlak waarop u
het apparaat plaatst, kunnen de rubberen
voetstukken het oppervlak mogelijk
verkleuren of ontsieren.
U kunt een stuk vilt of stof onder de
rubberen voetstukken plaatsen om dit te
voorkomen. Zorg er in dit geval voor dat
het apparaat niet verschuift of per ongeluk
in beweging komt.

• Gebruik een zachte, droge doek of een
doek die licht bevochtigd is met water om
het apparaat dagelijks af te vegen. Gebruik
een doek die met een zachte, niet-
schurende zeepoplossing is bevochtigd om
hardnekkig vuil te verwijderen. Veeg
vervolgens het apparaat grondig schoon
met een zachte, droge doek.

• Gebruik geen benzine,
verdunningsmiddelen, alcohol of
oplosmiddelen om verkleuring en/of
vervorming te voorkomen.
Reparaties en
gegevens

• Denk eraan dat alle gegevens in het
geheugen van het apparaat verloren
kunnen gaan als het apparaat voor
reparatie wordt ingezonden. Belangrijke
gegevens moeten altijd op papier worden
geschreven (indien mogelijk). Tijdens
herstellingen is de nodige zorg nodig om
gegevensverlies te vermijden. In bepaalde
gevallen echter (zoals wanneer het circuit
van het geheugen zelf mankementen
vertoont) kunnen we de gegevens
mogelijk niet herstellen en Roland erkent
geen aansprakelijkheid voor dergelijk
gegevensverlies.
Extra
voorzorgsmaatregelen

• Denk eraan dat de inhoud van het
geheugen onherroepelijk kan worden
gewist als gevolg van een defect of
verkeerd gebruik van het apparaat. We
raden u aan dat u geregeld belangrijke
gegevens die u in het geheugen van het
apparaat hebt opgeslagen, op papier
opschrijft om te vermijden dat u
belangrijke gegevens verliest.

• Het is helaas niet altijd mogelijk om de
inhoud van de gegevens in het geheugen
van het apparaat te herstellen zodra ze
verloren zijn. Roland Corporation erkent
geen aansprakelijkheid voor dergelijk
gegevensverlies.

• Draag voldoende zorg bij het gebruik van
de knoppen, schuifknoppen of andere
bedieningselementen van het apparaat en
bij het gebruik van aansluitingen en
ingangen. Ruw omgaan met de apparatuur
kan defecten veroorzaken.

• Neem het aansluitstuk vast als u kabels
aansluit / loskoppelt - trek nooit aan de
kabel. Op die manier vermijdt u
kortsluitingen of schade aan de inwendige
elementen van de kabel.

• Houd het volume van het apparaat op een
redelijk niveau om te vermijden dat u uw
buren stoort. Misschien gebruikt u liever
een hoofdtelefoon en hoeft u zich geen
zorgen te maken over uw omgeving
(vooral tijdens de late uren).

doos (inclusief opvulling) waarin het werd
geleverd als u het moet vervoeren. Anders
zult u gelijkaardige verpakkingen moeten

Gebruik geen kabels met weerstanden om
aansluitingen op dit apparaat uit te voeren.
Het gebruik van dergelijke kabels kan het
geluidsniveau extreem verlagen of zelfs
