Preparation:
Press [q/h MD] or [q/h CD] to select “MD” or “CD” as the source then
press [g
STOP/CANCEL].

Direct play
You can start play from a selected track.
Select the track with the numbered buttons.
For tracks numbered 10 and over, press [≥10 SPACE!”#] then the two
digits.
For tracks numbered 100 and over, press [≥10 SPACE!”#] twice then the
three digits (MD only).
e.g. To select track no. 132:
[≥10 SPACE!”#]
/ [≥10 SPACE!”#] / [1] / [3] / [2]

Program play
You can select up to 24 tracks to play in the order you choose.
1 While stopped
Press [PROGRAM].
2 Enter the track number with the numbered buttons.
For tracks numbered 10 and over, press [≥10 SPACE!”#] then the
two digits.
For tracks numbered 100 and over, press [≥10 SPACE!”#] twice
then the three digits (MD only).
Repeat this step to program the tracks in the required order.
3 Press [q/h MD] or [q/h CD].
All the selected tracks are played in the selected order.
Do the following while stopped
To cancel program play
Press [PROGRAM] to clear “PGM” from the display.
Programmed contents will be saved in memory.
¡ To play the program again
q Press [PROGRAM] so “PGM” is displayed.
w Press [q/h MD] or [q/h CD].
To check the contents of the program
Press [u/2 REW/ ] or [1/i /FF]. The track numbers and
program positions are displayed in order.
To add to the end of the program
Repeat step 2.
To clear all the tracks
Press [g STOP/CANCEL].
“PGM CLEAR” is displayed and all the tracks are cleared.
“PROGRAM FULL” is displayed
24 tracks have been programmed.
“– –:– –” is displayed
Total playing time for the tracks is over 249 minutes and 59 seconds.
Tracks can be still programmed and played.
¡ Skipping is done in the selected order in program play.
¡ You can search only within tracks in CD program mode.
¡ MD editing is not possible while in the program mode.
