Keep carefully in case it is needed!
This electric mattress heater is a high-quality product designed to last for many years if it is properly used and
cared for. Read the following instructions carefully to prevent damage or danger from incorrect use. Keep
the instructions so that you can refer back to individual points when necessary.
If you let somebody else use the blanket, you must be sure to let them have the instruction on use.
This appliance is not intended for medical use in hospitals.
z Please read carefully and follow the instructions.
z Use the device only as an electric mattress heater.
z Only connect to the voltage shown on the rating plate.
z The electric mattress heater must not be used when folded or crumpled.
z Do not use when folded.
z Do not use when crumpled.
z Do not treat the electric mattress heater as a sheet or tuck it in under the
mattress.
z Do not use the blanket for persons who cannot move without help, small
children, persons who cannot feel heat, or animals. Persons who can
feel heat to some extent may only use the blanket with supervision.
z Do not prick it with needles or other sharp objects.
z Do not tug or twist the power lead.
z Do not expose the switch or power lead to moisture or liquids.
z If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or similar qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
z Do not use the electric mattress heater when it is damp or wet.
z The device may not be switched on using a time switch.
z Avoid folding the blanket tightly.
z While the blanket is switched on,
- Do not place any large or heavy objects on it such as suitcases, etc.,
- Do not place any source of heat on it such as hot water bottles,
heating pads or such like
- Do not allow the switch to be concealed under blankets, pillows or the like and lie on the
electric mattress heater.
z Do not fold the blanket when hot.
z Please check the blanket and power lead frequently to look for signs of wear or damage. If you
find evidence of wear or a defect, or the blanket has been used incorrectly, return it to us for
checking and any necessary repairs.
z If you do not use the blanket daily, remove the plug from the socket and take the blanket off
your bed. Keep it dry until it is taken out for use again – the original bag is an ideal place to
store it.
z
The setting of the control unit for all night use.
z
Do not use on an adjustable bed or if used on an adjustable bed, check that the blanket or cord
cannot become trapped or rucked.
z
This blanket is not to be used by young children unless the controls have been preset by a
parent or guardian or the child has been instructed and how to operate safely.
z
When storing the appliance, allow it to cool down before folding.
z
Do not crease the appliance by placing items on top of it during storage.
