Preface:
Before you use the device for the first time please read the corresponding instructions in this
manual, even if you are used to handling electronic devices.
Please pay special attention to the chapter IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
Keep this manual safe for future reference. If you sell the device or pass it on, it is essential you
hand over this manual also.
Important Safety Notice
For your own safety, do not operate the controls of the product while driving.
Use this product prudently. The product is intended for use solely as a navigation aid. It is
not for precise measurement of direction, distance, location or topography.
The calculated route is for reference only. It is the user’s responsibility to follow the traffic
signs and local regulations along roads.
A car holder is needed when using the device in a car. Be sure that you place the device in
a suitable position, so as not to obstruct the driver’s view or deployment of airbags.
Use of devices with an antenna is prohibited on most aircraft, in many hospitals and in
many other locations. The device must not be used in these environments.
The device should not be exposed to sprayed or dripping water. No objects filled with
liquids such as vases or drinks should be placed on, above or near the device.
Only use a soft, dry and fluff-free cloth or brush. Do not use any detergents, alcohol,
benzene, furniture cleaner or any similar products.
GPS – Global Positioning System
GPS is operated by the United States government, which is solely responsible for the
performance of GPS. Any modification to the GPS system can affect the accuracy of all
GPS equipment.
GPS satellite signals cannot pass through solid materials (except glass). When you are
inside a tunnel or building, GPS positioning is not available.
A minimum of 4 GPS satellite signals is needed to determine the current GPS position.
Signal reception can be affected by conditions such as bad weather or dense overhead
obstacles (e.g. trees and tall buildings).
Other wireless devices in the vehicle might interfere with the reception of satellite signals
and cause the reception to be unstable.

U ontvangt de handleiding per email binnen enkele minuten. Als u geen email heeft ontvangen, dan heeft u waarschijnlijk een verkeerd emailadres ingevuld of is uw mailbox te vol.
