G6 is a PMR 446 transceiver which may be used, without license, all over

Europe. Please consult the “Restrictions on the use” charts for information

regarding country specic limitations.

Battery compartment

To open the battery compartment, hold the unit face down and unhook the

battery holder in the lower part of the radio and gently slide the cover.

G6 accepts the supplied battery pack or 4AAA alkaline rechargeable bat-

teries

Note1: when you replace the battery pack, always switch off the radio.

Note2: when you clean the G6, remove the battery pack.

** Coverage

The maximum range is obtained during use in an open space.

The only limitation to maximum possible range are environmental factors

such as blockage caused by trees, buildings, or other obstructions. Inside

a car or a metallic constructions, the range can be reduced.

To turn radio on/off

Hold down the

for 3 seconds.

Volume adjustment

Use the

p/q buttons to adjust the volume to the desired level.

Transmission

Keep the PTT button pressed and speak into the unit. Hold the radio

4/10cm away from your mouth. The display shows ‘TX’. When the PTT is

released, the radio beeps to conrm to other users that your transmission

has nished (Roger beep. See the paragraph).

Reception

Simply release the PTT button. When you receive a signal, ‘RX’ is displa-

yed.

Background noise reduction (Squelch).

In your G6 the background noise reduction device (squelch) is activated by

default. Hold the “menu/

” button down to deactivate it.

Automatic power save

G6 is supplied with an automatic current economy circuit. If the transcei-

ver receives no signal for more than 10 seconds, the “power save function”

automatically activates. The battery life may increase by up to 50 %.

When the battery pack is in need of charging,

icon will be displa-

yed: it is necessary to place the radio with its battery pack into the

desktop charger (CA-G6).

Recharge

Once you placed the G6 into the seat of the supplied desktop charger, it

doesn’t matter if the radio is switched off or on: in both cases, the charger

led will light up to indicate that the unit is being charged; if the radio is

turned on, the

icon will blink on the display. A complete recharge of the

battery pack takes about 10/12hours (discharged battery pack and radio

switched off during the charge).

MIC/CHG jack

External charger jack. We recommend use of the appropriate charger only.

Attention: alkaline batteries cannot be recharged.

2. To select babymonitor channels and parent channels

The PMR has additional pre-programmed baby (b-) and parent (E-)

channels tting together.

Channels from b1 to b10/b0 have the VOX and Out-of-range functions

activated by default: the radio set on these channels must be placed

close to the baby, while the unit used to keep a check of the baby must

be set on the E- (from E1 to E10/E0) channels, where the VOX function

is deactivated.

The baby-sitter function is correctly activated only if the two transceivers

are tuned on the same frequency (same channel and same CTCSS

tone, see the chart in the column below).

Example: if the radio close to the baby is set on channel ‘b1’, the other

radio must be set on channel ‘E1’.

For the baby monitoring channels the VOX sensitivity is xed at level 1.

“Menu/ ” BUTTON

Following functions can be selected by pressing the “menu/ ” button:

• VOX

1. Dual Watch (DW)

This feature allows you to scan 2 channels of your choice. It is useful when

you want to keep track of two other people.

Activation:

1. Turn the radio on.

2. Select by the

p/q keys the rst channel you want to monitor.

3. Press repeatedly the “menu/

” button until ”DW” blinks on the

display.

4. Select the second channel to monitor by the

p/qbuttons.

Now the radio begins scanning between these 2 channels until activity

is heard on either channel. The scanning restarts when the carrier

disappears. To stop the function, press the PTT or

button.

2. ROGER BEEP: end transmission tone

When PTT is released the radio will beep to conrm to other users that

your transmission has nished. This feature is enabled by default and it is

displayed with the

icon.

To disable the Roger Beep

1. Push the “menu/

” control 7 times until the display shows the symbol

2. Select ‘OF’ by means of the p/q buttons

3. Conrm the selection by pushing the PTT button.

3. To disable the keypad beeps

1. Press repeatedly the “menu/

” button until the LCD shows “oN” and

the

blinks.

2. Select “oF” by means of

p/q keys.

3. Push the

to conrm your selection.

4. Out-of-range control

The G6 is equipped with the “out of range” function. By setting this mode

a pair of G6 is transmitting every 30 seconds a data control code. As soon

as the contact between both units is getting lost and one station doesn’t

receive this data control code twice consecutively, the icon

starts

ashing in the display and you will hear a beep tone.

To enable/disable the Out-Of-Range function

• Switch on the unit and select the desired channel.

• Press the MENU key 4 times until the display shows “OF” and the icon

for Out-Of-Range control

is ashing.

• Select “ON” or “OF” by means of the ▲/▼ buttons.

• Conrm the selection by pushing the PTT key.

• Repeat the same procedure with the ot

her transceiver within 5

seconds.

Do not switch the radios off as long as You need the Out-Of-Range control.

If You should need the out-of-range control later again, please enter again

the MENU step and conrm once more the “ON “ setting at both radios

within 5 seconds.

Hint: If You need to use the Out-Of-Range function up to larger

communication distances, we recommend to use channels without CTCSS

coding.

CALL-BUTTON

1. Sending audio signal

By pressing rapidly the PTT button twice, your G6 will send an audio signal

to other users on the same frequency.

2. VOX function and its sensitivity

To get the most use from the VOX feature you must rst determine what

sensitivity (noise level) is needed to activate the VOX circuit.

Push the “menu/

” button for three times; ‘VOX’ blinks on the display.

Select the desired VOX level (1, 2, 3) by means of the

p/q buttons and

then press the PTT button.

VOX can be adjusted in 3 positions:

• 1: high sensitivity (normal voice with no background noise)

• 2: medium sensitivity (for slightly noisier areas)

• 3: low sensitivity (useful in very noisy areas or if you talk loudly)

To disable the VOX mode, press the “menu/

” button. ‘VOX’ blinks on

the display. Select ‘OF’ by means of the

p/q buttons and then push

PTT.

/S” BUTTON

1. Keypad lock

Press and hold the “

/S” button for more than 3 seconds. The icon conrms

that the keypad lock is activated. Only PTT and

will still be active. Repeat

the same procedure to unlock the keypad.

2. Display illumination

When you push

or one of the 5 controls on the front side, the display lights

up for approx. 10 seconds.

3. SCAN-mode

The SCAN mode monitors the busy channels.

It is used to check the trafc radio on the 8 channels before transmitting and

allows the unit to stop on a channel that someone is talking on. When the

radio stops on a busy channel, the scan will resume after about 5 seconds.

To activate the SCAN function: Press the “

/S” button and you will see

‘SCAN’ on the display.

To deactivate it: push the “

/S” or PTT button.

4. CTCSS-sub-tone setting

G6 can receive in two modalities:

opentrafc: in this case you will hear any communication transmitted on

the selected channel.

group mode CTCSS: CTCSS tones are access keys that allow you to

receive only messages coming from parties using the same channel

and code. Speaker will remain muted until the correct CTCSS tone is

received.

To activate 38 different CTCSS tones in RX and TX follow these steps:

1. Turn on the radio.

2. Select with the

p/q buttons one of the 8 channels.

3. Press twice the “menu/

” button until the display shows the selected

channel with the ashing CTCSS tone

4. Select with the

p/q buttons the desired CTCSS tone.

5. To conrm the setting press PTT.

Now the radio transmits and receives using the programmed CTCSS tone.

If you don’t want to use any CTCSS tone, select “00”.

Vano batteria

Spingere la linguetta verso il basso, rimuovere il coperchio sollevandolo

tramite l’apposito cavo. Inserire il pacco batteria oppure 4 batterie AAA

alcaline ricaricabili.

Nota1: nel caso di sostituzione del pacco batteria si consiglia di spegnere

prima l’apparato.

Nota2: nel caso di pulizia del G6, rimuovere il pacco batteria.

Prestazioni ottimali si otterranno in campo aperto. Fattori ambientali quali

alture, edici, alberi, fogliame possono diminuire la copertura. All’interno di

un’automobile o di una costruzione metallica, la portata si potrà ridurre.

Accensione

Premere e tenere premuto il tasto

per circa 3 secondi.

Regolazione volume

Per regolare il volume al livello ottimale, premere i tasti

p/q nché si

ottiene il livello desiderato.

Chiamare (trasmettere)

Tenere premuto il tasto PTT. Parlare ad una distanza di circa 4/10cm, con

un tono di voce normale. Il display visualizza ‘Tx’. Rilasciare il tasto PTT al

termine della conversazione. G6 invierà al vs interlocutore una nota di ne

trasmissione (Roger Beep).

(per abilitare la funzione vedi paragrafo ‘Roger Beep’).

Ascolto (ricezione)

Al rilascio del tasto PTT la radio rimane in modalità di ascolto. La ricezione

di un segnale verrà indicata con la scritta ‘RX’.

Eliminazione dei rumori di fondo/estensione copertura

(Squelch)

Nel G6 il ltro per la riduzione del rumore di fondo (squelch) è sempre

attivo. Per escluderlo, tenere premuto il tasto “menu/

”.

Auto power save

Il dispositivo automatico di risparmio batterie consente di ridurre i consu-

midellebatterienoal50%; se la radio non riceve alcun segnale per più

di 10 secondi la funzione viene attivata.

Quando il pacco batteria è scarico, l’icona

viene visualizzata sul

display: occorre inserire nel caricatore da tavolo (CA-G6) le 2 radio

con i pacchi batteria.

Ricarica

La radio può essere messa in carica sia accesa sia spenta. In entrambi i

casi il led presente sul caricatore si accenderà per indicare che la carica

è in corso. Sul display l’icona

lampeggia (solo se la radio è accesa).

Il tempo richiesto per una ricarica completa del pacco batteria è di circa

10/12 ore*

* pacco batteria scarico e radio spenta in carica.

Presa MIC/CHG

Presa caricatore esterno. Si raccomanda di caricare le batterie esclusiva-

mente con l’apposito caricatore.

Attenzione: le batterie alcaline non possono essere ricaricate.

2. Attivazione dei canali

Il PMR446 ha una serie di canali pre-programmati (b- ed E-) che si

utilizzano nella funzione Baby-sitter.

I canali da b1 a b0 hanno le funzioni VOX e Out-of-range attive

di default: la radio impostata su questi canali va quindi posizionata

nelle vicinanze del neonato da sorvegliare; quella invece utilizzata per

ascoltare il bambino andrà impostata sui canali E- (da E1 a E0), che non

dispongono di funzione VOX.

Afnché la funzione baby-sitter sia correttamente attivata, i due

ricetrasmettitori devono operare sulla stessa frequenza (stesso canale

e stesso tono CTCSS, vedi tabella sotto).

Esempio: se la radio posta vicino al neonato è impostata sul canale b1,

quella che servirà ai genitori per ascoltare dovrà essere impostata sul

canale E1.

Consente di monitorare (ascoltare) le conversazioni su 2 canali a scelta.

Per abilitare tale funzione:

1. Accendere il G6.

2. Selezionare il primo canale che si desidera monitorare tramite i tasti

p/q.

3. Premere ripetutamente il tasto “menu/

” no a che sul display

lampeggia la scritta ‘DW’.

4. Selezionare il secondo canale che si desidera ascoltare con i tasti

p/q.

L’apparato monitora ora ciclicamente solo i due canali impostati no a che

non riceve un segnale. Il monitoraggio riprenderà una volta scomparso il

segnale.

Per interrompere la funzione Dual Watch, premere a scelta il tasto di

accensione o PTT.

2. ROGERBEEP:Tonalitàdiconfermaneconversazione

Al rilascio del tasto PTT, quindi alla ne di ogni trasmissione, viene

emessa una tonalità che indica al vostro interlocutore che può iniziare

a parlare. Nel G6 questa funzione è attivata di default ed è indicata sul

display dall’icona

Disattivazione:

1. Premere 7 volte il tasto “menu/

” nchè sul display compare il simbolo

2. Con i tasti p/q selezionare “OF”.

3. Premere il tasto PTT per confermare la programmazione

3. Attivazione/Disattivazione Beep tastiera

1. Premere ripetutamente il tasto “menu/

” nché sul display compare

“oN” con l’icona

lampeggiante.

2. Premere i tasti

poq e selezionare “oF”.

3. Premere il tasto

per confermare la programmazione; la funzione è

stata disattivata.

4. Funzione Out-of-range (fuori portata)

Grazie a questa funzione, una coppia di G6 si trasmette a vicenda un

codice di controllo ogni 30 secondi. Non appena questa trasmissione si

interrompe ed uno dei due apparati non riceve il codice di controllo per 2

volte consecutive, l’icona

inizierà a lampeggiare sul display e la radio

emetterà un beep.

Abilitazione/disabilitazione funzione Out-of-range

• Accendere l’apparato e selezionare il canale desiderato.

• Premere il tasto MENU 4 volte nchè sul display compare “OF” e

lampeggia l’icona

• Selezionare “ON” o “OF” tramite i tasti ▲/▼.

• Confermare premendo il tasto di accensione o il PTT.

• Ripetere la stessa procedura con l’altro apparato.

Sul secondo apparato dovrà essere attivata la funzione out-of-range

entro 5 secondi.

Finchè volete mantenere la funzione attiva, non spegnete gli apparati.

Nel caso in cui la volete attivare di nuovo, ripetete la procedura eseguita

precedentemente e confermate l’attivazione su entrambi gli apparati entro

5 secondi.

Nota: se utilizzate questa funzione su distanze maggiori, consigliamo di

sintonizzarvi su canali aperti e non su canali con tono CTCSS.

Tasto CALL

1. Invio segnale audio

Premendo rapidamente 2 volte il tasto PTT, il G6 invia un segnale sonoro

di avviso di chiamata.

2. Attivazione funzione VOX e sensibilità

Per ottenere il miglior funzionamento della funzione VOX, è importante

determinare il livello di sensibilità ottimale per attivare tale dispositivo.

Premere 3 volte il tasto “menu/

”; sul display lampeggia la scritta ‘VOX’.

Tramite i tasti

p/q selezionare uno dei 3 livelli di sensibilità e premere il

tasto PTT.

1 alta sensibilità (per ambienti non molto rumorosi o se parlate con un

tono di voce basso)

2 media sensibilità

3 bassa sensibilità (per luoghi in cui il rumore di fondo è alto o se parlate

con tono di voce alto)

3. Disattivazione funzione VOX

Premere nuovamente il tasto “menu/

”. Sul display lampeggia la scritta

‘VOX’. Tramite i tasti

pq selezionare ‘OF’ e premere il tasto PTT

TASTO “ /S”

1. Blocco tastiera

Mantenere premuto il tasto “

/S” per più di 3 secondi. Il simbolo indica

che il blocco tastiera è stato attivato. Solo i tasti PTT e

rimangono

attivi.

Per disattivarlo, premerlo nuovamente per più di 3 secondi.

2. Illuminazione display

Alla pressione del tasto

e di uno dei 5 tasti frontali, il display si illumina

per circa 10 secondi.

3. Funzione SCAN

SCAN esegue la scansione di tutti i canali occupati.

Si utilizza per controllare le conversazioni sugli 8 canali, prima di

trasmettere. In presenza di un segnale su un canale (quindi di una

conversazione), la scansione si interromperà. La scansione riprenderà

dopo 5 secondi dal cessare del segnale.

Attivazione funzione SCAN

Premere il tasto “

/S”: sul display viene visualizzata la scritta SCAN.

Disattivazione funzione SCAN

Premere il tasto “

/S” o PTT.

4. Impostazione toni CTCSS

G6 può ricevere in due modalità:

a) “trafco aperto”: in questo caso sentirete tutte le conversazioni

trasmesse sul canale selezionato.

b) “modalità di gruppo CTCSS”: I toni CTCSS funzionano come una

sorta di codice di accesso e vi consentono di comunicare solo con

quegli utenti che hanno il Vs. stesso canale e codice. La radio rimarrà

silenziata no al ricevimento del corretto tono CTCSS.

Procedimento per attivazione 38 toni CTCSS in RX e TX:

1. Accendere l’apparato.

2. Sezionare il canale desiderato (1 degli 8 canali) tramite i tasti

p/q.

3. Premere 2 volte il tasto “menu/

” nchè il display mostra il canale

selezionato con l’attuale tono CTCSS lampeggiante.

4. Selezionare il tono CTCSS premendo i tasti

p/q.

5. Per confermare l’impostazione, premere PTT.

Ora la radio trasmette e riceve utilizzando il tono CTCSS preimpostato. Se

non si vuole operare con alcun tono CTCSS, selezionare “00”.

Einlegen der Batterien

Um das Batterie-/Akkufach zu öffnen, muss die Batteriefachverriegelung ge-

löst und der Deckel angehoben und abgezogen werden.

In das G6 können der mitgelieferte Akkupack oder 4 AAA Batterien/Akkus

eingesetzt werden.

Hinweise: Wenn Sie den Akkupack ersetzen, schalten Sie das Funkgerät

Grundfunktionen

Ein-/Ausschalten

Halten Sie

für 3 Sekunden gedrückt.

Lautstärkeregelung

Benutzen Sie die

p/q Tasten, um die Lautstärke einzustellen.

Senden

Halten Sie die PTT Taste gedrückt und sprechen Sie mit normaler Spra-

chlautstärke in einem Abstand von ca. 4-10 cm in das Mikrofon. Auf dem

Display wird dann „TX“ angezeigt. Sobald Sie die PTT Taste loslassen, be-

stätigt der Roger Beep Ton, dass die Übertragung beendet wurde. (Um den

Bestätigungston auszuschalten siehe Abschnitt Roger Beep).

Empfangen

Wenn Sie die Sendetaste (PTT) loslassen, schaltet das G6 in den Em-

pfangsbetrieb um. Sobald Sie ein Signal empfangen, erscheint im Display

„RX“.

Rauschunterdrückung (Squelch)

Das G6 besitzt eine automatische Rauschunterdrückung, die durch Drücken

der Taste “menu/

” deaktiviert werden kann.

Energiesparmodus

Wenn das G6 mehr als 10 Sekunden kein Signal empfängt, aktiviert sich die

Energiesparfunktion automatisch. Die Laufzeit der Batterien erhöht sich

dadurch um bis zu 50%. Wenn der Akku geladen werden muss, erscheint

auf dem Display ein Batteriesymbol. Dann ist es nötig, das Funkgerät samt

Akkupack zu laden, entweder im Standlader (CA-G6) oder mit dem Stecker-

lader.

Standladegerät

Das Funkgerät kann dabei ein- oder ausgeschaltet aufgeladen werden:

die Ladekontrolle im Standlader leuchtet, sobald der Akku geladen wird.

Ist das Funkgerät beim Laden eingeschaltet, blinkt das Batteriesymbol im

Funkgerätedisplay. Eine komplette Ladung dauert etwa 10 bis 12 Stunden

bei ausgeschaltetem Funkgerät und vorher vollständig entladenem Akku. Bei

gleichzeitig eingeschaltetem Funkgerät dauert eine Ladung länger.

Mikrofon-/Ladebuchse

Anschlussmöglichkeit für ein geeignetes Ladegerät. Damit können die im

Gerät bendlichen Akkus geladen werden. Bitte verwenden Sie dazu nur die

Original Ladegeräte.

Achtung: Versuchen Sie niemals, Alkali-Batterien zu laden!

2. Babyüberwachungs- und Elternkanäle einstellen

Das G6 verfügt über 20 voreingestellte Babyüberwachungs- und Eltern-

Kanalkombinationen. Bei den Kanälen b1 bis b10 sind die VOX und

Außer-Reichweiten-Kontrolle Funktionen bereits aktiviert. Das Funkgerät,

das einen dieser Kanäle nutzt, muss bei dem Baby platziert werden. Das

Funkgerät zum Überwachen hingegen nutzt einen der Kanäle von E1 bis

E10 (bei den E-Kanälen ist die VOX Funktion deaktiviert).

Die Babysitter Funktion ist nur dann möglich, wenn die beiden Funkgeräte

auf der gleichen Frequenz eingestellt sind – mit jeweils gleichem Kanal

und CTCSS Kodierungston.

Beispiel: Das Funkgerät zur Babyüberwachung läuft auf Kanal b1, also

muss das überwachende Funkgerät auf E1 eingestellt sein. Die VOX

Empndlichkeit ist bei der Babyüberwachung auf Stufe 1 eingestellt.

“Menu/ ” Taste

Folgende Funktionen können mit der Menütaste ausgewählt werden:

· Außer-Reichweiten-Kontrolle

1. Dual Watch (DW)

Diese Funktion macht es Ihnen möglich, 2 Kanäle Ihrer Wahl zu

überwachen. Zum Einstellen gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

1. Schalten Sie das G6 ein.

2. Wählen Sie mit

p/q den gewünschten ersten Kanal aus.

3. Drücken Sie mehrmals die „Menu“ Taste bis DW auf dem Display

blinkt.

4. Wählen Sie mit den

p/q Tasten den zweiten zu überwachenden Kanal

aus.

Sobald auf einem der Kanäle ein Signal anliegt, stoppt das G6 den

Scanvorgang, bleibt auf dem Kanal und Sie hören das empfangene

Signal. Sobald für längere Zeit kein Signal mehr empfangen wird,

wechselt das Funkgerät wieder in den Überwachungsmodus zurück.

Um die Zweikanalüberwachung zu stoppen, drücken Sie entweder

die PTT oder die

Taste.

2. ROGER BEEP: Quittungston

Wenn die PTT Taste nach dem Sprechen losgelassen wird, sendet

das Funkgerät einen Quittungston um den anderen Teilnehmern das

Ende der Übertragung zu bestätigen. Die Funktion ist standardmäßig

eingeschaltet.

Quittungston ausschalten:

1. Drücken Sie die „Menu“ Taste 7 Mal bis auf dem Display das Symbol

zu sehen ist.

2. Wählen Sie mit den

p/q Tasten OFF aus.

3. Bestätigen Sie die Eingabe durch drücken der PTT Taste.

3. Tastaturtöne ausschalten

1. Drücken Sie mehrmals die „Menu“ Taste bis im Display „oN“ gezeigt

wird und

blinkt.

2. Wählen Sie mit den

p/q Tasten „oF“ aus

4. Ausser- Reichweite- Kontrolle

Das G6 ist mit einer Außer-Reichweiten-Kontrolle ausgestattet. Wenn

bei beiden Geräten diese Funktion aktiviert wird, senden die Geräte alle

30 Sekunden einen Kontroll Code. Sobald dieser Kontakt zwischen den

Geräten 2mal hintereinander abbricht, das Symbol

beginnt zu blinken

und Sie hören einen Bestätigungston.

Ein- und Ausschalten der Reichweitenkontrolle

• Beide Funkgeräte einschalten und gewünschten Kanal aussuchen

• MENU 4 x drücken, bis das Display “OF” zeigt und das

Reichweitensymbol

blinkt

• Zwischen “ON” oder “OFF” auswählen mit den ▲/▼-Tasten

• Bestätigen Sie die Einstellung mit einem kurzen Druck auf die

Sendetaste (PTT)

• Wiederholen Sie diese Einstellung auch an dem anderen Funkgerät

und drücken Sie die PTT-Taste zur Bestätigung innerhalb von

5 Sekunden, nachdem Sie das beim ersten Funkgeräten getan

haben.

Schalten Sie jetzt die Funkgeräte nicht mehr aus, solange Sie

automatische Reichweitenkontrolle benutzen möchten. Wird die

automatische Reichweitenkontrolle später noch einmal gewünscht,

gehen Sie erneut in das Menü und bestätigen Sie die Einstellung “ON”

bei beiden Geräten wieder innerhalb von 5 Sekunden.

Tip: Wenn sie die Reichweitenkontrolle bis zur Grenze der

Funkreichweite einsetzen möchten, benutzen Sie möglichst Kanäle

ohne CTCSS Codierung!

Rufsignal

Eine Rufmelodie aussenden

Ihr G6 schickt ein Audio Signal an alle Geräte auf derselben Frequenz,

indem Sie Sie 2 mal schnell hintereinander die PTT Taste drücken.

Automatische Sprachsteuerung (VOX) und

dieVox-Ansprechempndlichkeit

In dieser Einstellung reagiert das Gerät auf Sprache und Geräusche und

schaltet automatisch auf Senden. Damit das nicht versehentlich oder etwa

schon bei leisen Nebengeräuschen geschieht, hat die VOX Funktion 3 Em-

pndlichkeitsstufen.

Drücken Sie die „menu/

“ Taste 3 mal; „VOX“ blinkt im Display. Stellen

Sie die gewünschte Empndlichkeit (1, 2, 3) mit den

p/q Tasten ein und

bestätigen Sie danach die Einstellung mit der PTT Taste.

/S Taste für mehr als 3 Sekunden gedrückt. Das Symbol

bestätigt, dass die Tastensperre aktiv ist. Die PTT Taste sowie

können

nach wie vor benutzt werden. Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang um die Tasten

zu entsperren.

2. Hintergrundbeleuchtung

Wenn Sie

oder eine der 5 Kontrolltasten auf der Vorderseite drücken,

leuchtet das Display für ca. 10 Sekunden auf.

3. SCAN-Modus (Suchlauf)

Der SCAN Modus überwacht alle Kanäle nacheinander, ob sie besetzt

sind. Diese Funktion wird benutzt, um freie oder belegte Kanäle zu nden

oder um Funkverkehr zu nden und mitzuhören. Der Suchlauf stoppt au-

tomatisch auf dem jeweils gerade belegten Kanal. Nach max. 5 Sekunden

Mithören auf dem aktiven Kanal wird der automatische Suchlauf fortgeset-

zt, wenn nicht von Hand vorher bereits gestoppt wird.

Starten des Suchlaufs:

/S” Taste. Danach sehen Sie „SCAN“ auf dem Display.

4. CTCSS-Code Einstellung

Das G6 kann Funkverkehr auf 2 Arten empfangen:

offener Funkverkehr: in diesem Fall können Sie alles hören was in

dem ausgewählten Kanal gesendet wird.

geschlossene Gruppen: Funkverkehr innerhalb einer Gruppe, der

untereinander codiert ist. dabei sind die Codierungen nach dem

internationalen CTCSS-System wie „Zugangsschlüssel“ zu verstehen,

die es Ihnen erlauben nur die Nachrichten zu hören, die von Ihren

Gruppenmitgliedern kommen die denselben Kanal und CTCSS Code

benutzen. Der Lautsprecher bleibt solange stumm bis der korrekte

CTCSS Code empfangen wird.

So stellen Sie einen der 38 verschiedenen CTCSS Codes ein:

- Schalten Sie das G6 ein.

- Wählen Sie mit

p/q einen der 8 Kanäle aus.

- Drücken Sie 2 mal die „Menu“ Taste bis im Display den gewählten

Kanal mit einem aueuchtenden CTCSS Code erscheint.

- Wählen Sie mit

p/q den gewünschten CTCSS Code aus.

- Bestätigen Sie die Einstellung mit der PTT Taste.

Ab jetzt sendet und empfängt das Gerät mit dem eingestellten CTCSS

Code. Wenn Sie keine Kodierung mehr benutzen möchten, stellen Sie

„00“ ein.

Compartimento de baterías

Para abrir el compartimento de las baterías, ponga la radio cara abajo y de-

sbloquee la lengüeta en la parte baja de la radio y deslice suavemente la

tapa. G6 acepta el pack suministrado o 4 pilas alcalinas o baterías recarga-

bles tipo AAA.

Transmisión

Mantenga pulsada la tecla PTT y hable directamente al equipo. Mantenga la

radio a 5-10cm de su boca. El display muestra ‘TX’. Cuando suelte el PTT,

la radio emite un pitido para indicar al otro usuario que su transmisión ha

concluido (vea el párrafo Roger beep).

Recepción

Simplemente no pulse o suelte la tecla PTT. Cuando esté en recepción, el

display muestra ‘RX’.

Reducción de ruido de fondo (Squelch).

En el G6, el dispositivo de reducción del ruido de fondo (squelch) está activa-

do por defecto. Para desactivarlo mantenga pulsada la tecla “menu/

”.

Ahorro automático de baterías

El G6 incluye un circuito de ahorro de baterías. Si la radio no recibe señal

durante 10 segundos, la función de ahorro de batería se activa automáti-

camente. La duración de la batería se puede alargar hasta un 50 %.

Cuando la batería necesita ser recargada, el símbolo

aparece en el

display: en este momento es necesario poner a cargar la radio en su

cargador (CA-G6).

Recarga

La radio puede recargarse tanto encendida como apagada. En ambos casos

el led del cargador se encenderá para indicar que la carga está en curso. Si

la radio está encendida, el icono

parpadeará en el display.

El tiempo necesario para una recarga completa del pack de baterías es de

aproximadamente 10/12 horas*

* Pack de baterías descargado y radio apagada durante la recarga

2. Para seleccionar los canales de baby-sitter

El G6 tiene unos canales adicionales preprogramados que se utilizan en

la función baby-sitter (b- y E-).

Los canales del b1 al b10/b0 tienen las funciones VOX y Out-of-range

(fuera de cobertura) activadas por defecto: la radio ajustada en esos

canales, debe colocarse cerca del bebé, mientras que la usada para

escuchar hay que ajustarla en los canales E- (de E1 a E10/E0), donde la

función VOX está desactivada.

Para activar correctamente la función baby-sitter, las dos radios tienen que

estar en el mismo canal y con el mismo subtono (vea la tabla siguiente).

Ejemplo: si la radio colocada junto al bebé está ajustada en el canal ‘b1’,

la otra radio hay que ajustarla en el canal ‘E1’.

La sensibilidad del VOX de los canales de baby-sitter está ajustada al

nivel 1.

Esta función le permite explorar 2 canales de su elección.

Activación:

1. Encienda la radio.

2. Seleccione con las teclas

p/q el primer canal que quiere explorar.

3. Pulse repetidamente la tecla “menu/

” hasta que en el display

parpadee ”DW”.

4. Seleccione el segundo canal a explorar con las teclas

p/q.

La radio empieza a explorar los dos canales hasta que reciba alguna señal

en uno de los dos. La exploración se restablece cuando la señal desa-

parece.

Para detener esta función, pulse la tecla PTT o la tecla

2.ROGERBEEP:tonodendetransmisión

Cuando se libera el PTT la radio emitirá un pitido para conrmar al otro

usuario que la transmisión se ha terminado. Esta función está activada

por defecto y se indica en el display con el icono

Para desactivar el Roger Beep:

1. Pulse la tecla “menu/

” 7 veces hasta que en el display aparezca

el símbolo

2. Seleccione ‘OF’ mediante las teclas p/q.

3. Conrme la selección pulsando la tecla PTT.

3. Desactivación de los tonos del teclado

4. Función Out-of-range (fuera de cobertura)

El G6 está equipado con la función “out of range”. Activándola, la pareja

de G6 está transmitiendo un código de control cada 30 segundos. Tan

pronto como el contacto entre los dos se esté perdiendo y una de las

radios no recibe el código dos veces consecutivas, el símbolo (icona

Out-Range-Control) comienza a parpadear en el display y la radio emite

un pitido de aviso.

Para activar/desactivar la función Out-Of-Range:

• Encienda el equipo, selecione el canal deseado.

• Pulse la tecla MENU 4 veces hasta que el display muestre “OF” y

parpadee el icono

• Selecione “ON” o “OF” mediante las teclas ▲/▼.

• Conrme la selección pulsando el PTT.

• Repita este procedimiento con el otro equipo antes de cinco

segundos.

No apague los equipos mientras desee que la función se mantenga

activa. Si desea activarla posteriormente, deberá entrar de nuevo en el

menú y proceder como se ha descrito anteriormente en ambas radios,

respetando el límite de los 5 segundos.

Sugerencia: Si usted precisa utilizar la función Out-of-Range para

comunicaciones a larga distancia, le recomendamos utilizar esta

función sin activar los subtonos CTCSS de su transmisor.

TECLA LLAMADA

1. Envío de una señal de audio

Pulsando dos veces rápidamente la tecla PTT, el G6 enviará una señal

de audio a otra radio que esté en la misma frecuencia.

2. Función VOX y su sensibilidad

Para sacar el máximo partido a la función VOX, primero debe determinar

el nivel de sensibilidad necesario, dependiendo del ruido ambiente,

para activar el circuito VOX.

Pulse la tecla “menu/

” 3 veces; en el display parpadea ‘VOX’.

Seleccione el nivel de VOX deseado (1, 2, 3) mediante las teclas

p/q

y pulse PTT para seleccionar.

El VOX se puede ajustar en 3 posiciones:

• 1:altasensibilidad (voz normal y sin ruido de fondo)

• 2:sensibilidadmedia (para zonas un poco ruidosas)

• 3:bajasensibilidad(para zonas muy ruidosas o si habla muy alto)

Para desactivar el modo VOX, pulse la tecla “menu/

”. En el display

parpadea ‘VOX’. Seleccione ‘OF’ mediante las teclas

p/q y pulse PTT

para seleccionar.

Pulse y mantenga pulsada la tecla “

/S” más de 3 segundos. El símbolo

conrma que el teclado está bloqueado. Solamente la tecla PTT y

permanecerán activas.

Repita el mismo proceso para desbloquear el teclado.

2. Iluminación del Display

Cuando pulse la tecla

o una de las 5 teclas de la radio, el display se

ilumina durante 10 segundos aproximadamente.

3. Función SCAN

La función SCAN monitoriza los canales ocupados.

Se utiliza para ver si hay transmisiones en los 8 canales de la radio,

antes de transmitir. La radio detendrá la exploración cuando encuentre

alguna señal en uno de los canales y reanudará la exploración 5

segundos después de terminar la transmisión.

Para activar la función SCAN: Pulse la tecla “

/S” y en el display

aparece ‘SCAN’.

Para desactivarla: pulse la tecla “

/S” o la tecla PTT.

4. Ajuste del subtono CTCSS

El G6 puede recibir en dos modalidades:

a) Tráco abierto:en este caso escuchará todas las transmisiones

realizadas en el canal seleccionado.

b) Modo grupo CTCSS: los subtonos CTCSS son como códigos de

acceso que permiten recibir solamente señales de otras radios que

estén en el mismo canal y con el mismo código. La radio estará en

espera hasta que reciba el subtono CTCSS correcto.

Para activar uno de los 38 subtonos diferentes CTCSS en RX y TX,

siga estos pasos:

1. Encienda la radio.

2. Seleccione con las teclas

p/q uno de los 8 canales.

3. Pulse dos veces la tecla “menu/

” hasta que en el display aparezca

el canal seleccionado con el tono CTCSS ajustado parpadeando.

4. Seleccione mediante las teclas

p/q el tono CTCSS deseado.

5. Para conrmar el ajuste, pulse la tecla PTT.

Ahora la radio transmite y recibe usando el subtono CTCSS programado.

Si no quiere trabajar con subtono, en el paso 4, seleccione “00”.

Compartiment batterie

Pour ouvrir le compartiment des batteries, tournez la radio face avant vers

le bas et ouvrez le verrouillage du couvercle qui se trouve en bas du poste

et faite le glisser.

Le G6 peut fonctionner avec le pack batterie fournit ou 4 batteries AAA re-

chargeable.

Note1: Quand vous remplacez les batteries éteignez toujours la radio

avant.

Gardez la radio à une distance de 4/10cm de votre bouche. L’afcheur in-

Réception

Relâchez la touché PTT. Quand vous recevez une communication l’afcheur

indique ‘RX’.

Réducteur de bruit de fond (Squelch).

Dans votre G6 le réducteur de bruit de fond est actif par défaut. Maintenez le

bouton “menu/

” appuyé pour le désactiver.

Economie d’énergie automatique

Le G6 est fournit avec un économiseur d’énergie automatique. Si la radio

ne reçoit pas de signal pendant plus de 10 secondes, la fonction d’éco-

nomie d’énergie s’active automatiquement. La durée de vie des batte-

ries peut être augmenté jusqu’à 50%.

Quand il est nécessaire de charger le pack batterie, l’icône

apparaît

Recharge

Que la radio soit allumée ou éteinte, dans les deux cas la LED s’allume

et indique que la charge est en cours. Si la radio est allumée pendant la

charge l’icône

clignote sur l’afcheur. Une charge complète du pack

batterie prend environ 10/12 heures (Pack complètement vide et radio

éteinte pendant la charge).

Jack de chargement externe. Nous recommandons d’utiliser uniquement le

2. Pour sélectionner des canaux Surveillance Bébé ou parents

La radio comprend des canaux préprogrammé bébé (b-) et parent (E-)

qui ce correspondent.

Les canaux de b1 à b10/b0 ont la fonction VOX et Out-of-range active

par défaut.

La radio congure dans ce mode doit être place le plus près possible du

bébé, alors que le poste qui doit rester en surveillance doit être conguré

sur les canaux E- (de E1 à E10/E0) ou la fonction VOX est désactivé.

La fonction baby-sitter n’est correctement active que si les deux radio

sont congure sur la même fréquence (même canal et même CTCSS,

voir tableau ci-dessous).

Exemple: Si la radio près du bébé est sur le canal ‘b1’, l’autre doit être sur

le canal ‘E1’.

Pour la fonction écoute bébé la sensibilité du VOX est préréglé sur

le niveau 1.

1. Double veille (DW)

Cette option vous permet de surveiller deux canaux de votre choix. C’est

utile si vous voulez garder le contact avec deux autres personnes.

Activation:

1. Allumez la radio.

2. Sélectionnez avec les touches

p/q le premier canal que vous voulez

surveiller.

3. Appuyez plusieurs de suite sur la touche “menu/

” jusqu’a ce que le

symbole ”DW” clignote sur l’afcheur.

4. Sélectionnez le second canal à surveiller à l’aide des touches

p/q.

Maintenant la radio commence à scanner les deux canaux jusqu’a la

réception d’un signal sur l’un des canaux. Le scan reprend lorsque le signal

disparaît.

Pour stopper la double veille appuyez sur la touché PTT ou

2.ROGERBEEP:tonalitédend’émission

Quand la touché PTT est relâché la radio émet un Beep vers le correspondent

pour lui signalé que vous avez ni de parler. Cette fonction est activé par

défaut et est signalé par l’icône

Pour désactiver le Roger Beep:

1. Appuyez sur la touche “menu/

” 7 fois jusqu’a ce que le symbole

apparaisse.

2. Sélectionnez ‘OF’ à l’aide des touches

p/q.

3. Conrmez la sélection en appuyant sur la touche PTT.

3. Pour désactiver le Beep touche

4. Out-of-range control

Le G6 est équipé de la fonction “out of range”. En choisissant ce mode

une paire de G6 transmet toutes les 30 secondes des données de control.

Dès que le contact est interrompu ou que l’une des radios ne reçoit pas les

données de control de fois de suite, l’icône

clignote sur l’afcheur et un

Beep retenti.

Pour activer/désactiver la fonction Out-Of-Range

• Allumez la radio et choissez un canal.

• Appuyez sur la touche MENU 4 fois jusqu’à ce que l’afcheur indique «

OF » et que l’icône

clignote.

• Sélectionnez « ON » ou « OF » à l’aide des boutons ▲/▼.

• Conrmez votre sélection en appuyant sur la touche PTT.

• Répéter l’opération avec l’autre radio dans les 5 secondes.

N’éteignez pas la radio tant que vous avez besoin de la fonction Out-Of-

Range. Si vous avez besoin à nouveau de la fonction plus tard, effectuez

à nouveau les étapes du MENU pour activer la fonction dans un intervalle

de 5 secondes entre chaque appareil.

Note: si vous utilisez cette fonction á des distances plus longues, nous

conseillons d’utiliser des canaux ouverts, sans code CTCSS.

BOUTON D’APPEL (CALL)

1. Sending audio signal

En appuyant deux fois rapidement sur la touche PTT, le G6 envoie un signal

sonore aux autres personnes sur la même fréquence.

2. Fonction VOX et sensibilité

Pour avoir le meilleur fonctionnement de la fonction VOX il faut d’abord

déterminer quelle sensibilité (Niveau sonore) est nécessaire pour déclencher

le VOX.

Appuyez sur la touché “menu/

” trois fois l’indication ‘VOX’ clignote à

l’écran. Sélectionnez la sensibilité du VOX (1, 2, 3) à l’aide des touches

p/q et conrmez en appuyant sur la touche PTT.

Le VOX peut être réglé sur 3 niveaux:

• 1:SensibilitéHaute(Voie normal avec aucun bruit de fond)

• 2:Sensibilitémoyenne (pour une zone avec un peut plus de bruit de

fond)

• 3:Sensibilitébasse (Utile en milieu très bruyant ou si vous parlez fort)

Pour désactiver le mode VOX, appuyez sur la touche “menu/

” jusqu’a ce

1. Keypad lock

Maintenez appuyé la touche “

/S” pendant plus de 3 secondes. L’icône

conrme que le verrouillage clavier est actif. Seul la touche PTT et

reste

opérationnel. Répétez l’opération pour déverrouiller le clavier.

2. Display illumination

Lorsque vous appuyez sur

une ou plusieurs touches l’afcheur s’éclaire

pendant environ 10 secondes.

3. Mode SCAN

La fonction SCAN recherche les canaux occupés.

Elle est utilisée pour vérier le trac sur les 8 canaux avant d’émettre et vous

permet l’écoute d’un canal en cours d’utilisation. Quand la radio s’arrête sur

un canal occupé, le SCAN reprend au bout de 5 secondes.

Pour activer la fonction SCAN: Appuyez sur la touche “

/S” pour faire

apparaître ‘SCAN’ à l’écran.

Pour désactiver: Appuyez sur la touche “

/S”ou PTT.

4.CongurationdusouscodeCTCSS

Le G6 peut recevoir une communication de deux façons différentes:

a) Tracouvert:Dans ce cas vous entendrez toutes les communications

sur le canal choisi.

b) Mode groupe CTCSS: Les tonalités CTCSS sont des clefs d’accès

qui vous permet de recevoir uniquement les communications issue des

personnes qui utilise le même canal et le même code. Le Haut-parleur

reste silencieux jusqu’à la réception du code CTCSS correct.

Pour activer un code CTCSS par les 38 disponible en TX et RX,

effectuez la procédure suivante:

1. Allumez la radio.

2. Sélectionnez un canal à l’aide des touches

p/q.

3. Appuyez deux fois sur la touche “menu/

jusqu’a ce code CTCSS

clignote sur le canal en cours.

4. Avec les touches

p/q choisissez le code CTCSS.

5. Pour conrmer appuyez sur la touche PTT.

Maintenant la radio émet et reçoit avec le code CTCSS programmé. Si vous

ne voulez pas utiliser de CTCSS, sélectionnez le code ‘00’.

Batterijvak

Om het batterijvak te openen, houd de eenheid met de voorkant naar bene-

den en maak de batterijhouder los in het onderste deel van de radio en schuif

het deksel zachtjes.

De G6 accepteert de bijgeleverde batterij of 4AAA alkaline herlaadbare bat-

terijen.

Opmerking 1: wanneer u de batterij vervangt, schakel de radio altijd off.

Het maximum bereik wordt verkregen bij gebruik in een open ruimte.

De enige beperkingen voor het maximum mogelijk bereik zijn milieufactoren

Om de radio in/off te schakelen

Houd de

gedurende 3 seconden ingedrukt.

Volumeregeling

Gebruik de knoppen

p/q om het volume naar het gewenste niveau te bren-

gen.

Transmissie

Houd de PTT -knop ingedrukt en spreek in de eenheid. Houd de radio op een

afstand van 4/10 cm van de mond. Het scherm geeft ‘TX’ weer. Wanneer de

PTT wordt losgelaten, piept de radio om On andere gebruikers te bevestigen

dat uw transmissie beëindigd is (Roger-pieptoon. Zie de paragraaf).

Ontvangst

Laat gewoon de PTT -knop los. Wanneer u een signaal ontvangt, wordt‘RX’

weergegeven.

Ruisonderdrukker.

In uw G6 is de ruisonderdrukker standaard geactiveerd. Houd de knop

“menu/

” ingedrukt om deze te deactiveren.

Automatische energiebesparing

De G6 is uitgerust met een automatisch stroombesparingscircuit. Als de

zendontvanger gedurende meer dan 10 seconden geen signaal ontvangt,

wordt de energiebesparingsfunctie automatisch geactiveerd. De batterijle-

vensduur kan met tot 50% stijgen.

Wanneer het pictogram “batterij moet worden opgeladen” wordt

weergegeven: is het nodig om de radio met batterij in de desktoplader

te plaatsen (CA-G6).

Tafellader

Het maakt niet uit of de portofoon aan of uit staat: in beide mogelijkheden

zal de laad led oplichten ter indicatie dat de portofoon wordt geladen; als de

portofoon aan staat, zal de batterij indicator knipperen op het scherm. Een

complete herlading van de accupack neemt ongeveer 10/12uren in beslag.

Aansluiting voor externe lader We bevelen enkel het gebruik van de geschik-

2. Om de babymonitor-kanalen en ouders-kanalen te selecteren

De PMR heeft extra baby (b-) en ouders (E-) -kanalen die bij elkaar

passen.

De kanalen van b1 tot b10/b0 hebben de functies VOX en Buiten bereik

standaard geactiveerd: de radio ingesteld op deze kanalen moet dicht

bij de baby worden geplaatst, terwijl de eenheid die gebruikt wordt om de

baby te controleren, ingesteld moet zijn op de kanalen E- (van E1 tot E10/

E0), waar de VOX-functie gedeactiveerd is.

De babysit-functie is enkel correct geactiveerd als de twee zendontvangers

op dezelfde frequentie ingesteld zijn (hetzelfde kanaal en dezelfde CTCSS

toon, zie de tabel hieronder).

Bijvoorbeeld: Indien de radio dicht bij de baby ingesteld is op kanaal ‘b1’,

moet de andere radio ingesteld zijn op kanaal ‘E1’.

Voor de babycontrole-kanalen moet de VOX-gevoeligheid ingesteld zijn

op niveau 1.

1. Dubbele bewaking (DW)

Via deze functie kunt u twee kanalen naar keuze scannen. Dit is nuttig

indien u twee personen wilt volgen.

Activatie:

1. Schakel de radio in.

2. Selecteer met behulp van de toetsen

p/q het eerste kanaal dat u

wilt checken.

3. Druk herhaaldelijk op de knop “menu/

” tot ”DW” knippert op het

scherm.

4. Selecteer het tweede te checken kanaal via de knoppen

p/q.

De radio begint nu deze 2 kanalen te scannen tot activiteit wordt gehoord

op één van de kanalen. Het scannen herbegint wanneer de carrier ver-

dwijnt.

Om de functie te stoppen, druk op de PTT of

knop.

2. ROGER-pieptoon: einde transmissie-toon

Wanneer de PTT wordt losgelaten, piept de radio om On andere

gebruikers te bevestigen dat uw transmissie beëindigd is. Deze functie

is standaard geactiveerd en wordt weergegeven met het pictogram

4. Functie Buiten bereik

De G6 is uitgerust met de functie “Buiten bereik”. Door deze modus

in te stellen, kan een paar G6-toestellen elke 30 seconden een

gegevenscontrolecode uitzenden. Zodra het contact tussen de beide

eenheden verloren is en één eenheid deze gegevenscontrolecode

tweemaal achter elkaar niet ontvangt, begint het pictogram

op het

scherm te knipperen en hoort u een pieptoon.

Om de functie Buiten Bereik in/uit te schakelen

• Schakel de eenheid in en selecteer het gewenste kanaal.

• Druk viermaal op de toets MENU tot het scherm “OF” weergeeft en

het pictogram

voor de functie Buiten Bereik knippert.

• Selecteer “ON” of “OF” via de knoppen ▲/▼.

• Bevestig de selectie door te duwen op de toets PTT.

• Herhaal dezelfde procedure met de andere zendontvanger binnen

de 5 seconden.

Schakel de radio’s niet uit zolang u de functie Buiten Bereik nodig

hebt. Indien u de functie Buiten Bereik later opnieuw nodig hebt, open

opnieuw de MENUstap en bevestig nogmaals. de instelling “ON” op

beide radio’s binnen de 5 seconden.

Tip: Indien u de functie Buiten Bereik moet gebruiken voor grotere

communicatieafstanden, bevelen we aan de kanalen te gebruiken

zonder CTCSS-codering.

OPROEP-KNOP

1. Verzenden van een audiosignaal

Door snel tweemaal de knop PTT in te drukken, zal uw G6 een

audiosignaal zenden naar andere gebruikers op dezelfde frequentie.

2. VOX-functie en zijn gevoeligheid

Om het maximum te halen off de VOX-functie, moet u eerst bepalen

welke gevoeligheid (geluidsniveau) nodig is om het VOC-circuit te

activeren.

Druk driemaal op de knop “menu/

”; ‘VOX’ knippert op het scherm.

Selecteer het gewenste VOX-niveau (1, 2, 3) via de knoppen

p/q en

druk op de knop PTT.

VOX kan in drie posities worden ingesteld:

• 1: hoge gevoeligheid (normale stem met geen achtergrondruis)

• 2: gemiddelde gevoeligheid (voor iets luidere gebieden)

• 3: lage gevoeligheid (nuttig in zeer luide gebieden of als u luid

praat)

Om de VOX-modus off te schakelen, druk op de knop “menu/

”.

‘VOX’ knippert op het scherm. Selecteer ‘Of’ via de knoppen

p/q en

druk vervolgens op PTT.

/S” -KNOP

1. Toetsenblokvergrendeling

Druk en houd de knop “

/S” gedurende meer dan 3 seconden ingedrukt.

Het pictogram

bevestigt dat de toetsenblokvergrendeling geactiveerd is.

Enkel PTT en

zullen nog actief zijn. Herhaal dezelfde procedure om het

toetsenblok te ontgrendelen.

2. Schermverlichting

Wanneer u drukt op

of een van de 5 knoppen On de voorkant, brandt de

schermverlichting gedurende ongev. 10 seconden.

3. SCAN-modus

De SCAN-modus controleert de drukke kanalen.

Deze wordt gebruikt om het radioverkeer te controleren op de 8 kanalen

voor het uitzenden en laat de eenheid stoppen op een kanaal waarop ie-

mand On het praten is. Wanneer de radio stopt op een druk kanaal, zal de

scan hervatten na ongeveer 5 seconden.

Om de SCAN-functie te activeren: Druk op de knop “

/S” en ‘SCAN’

verschijnt op het scherm.

Om dit te deactiveren: druk op de knop “

/S” of PTT.

4. CTCSS-subtoon instellen

G6 kan in twee modaliteiten ontvangen:

open verkeer: in dit geval zult u alle communicatie horen die wordt

uitgezonden op het geselecteerde kanaal.

groepmodus CTCSS: CTCSS tonen zijn toegangssleutels waarmee u

enkel berichten kunt ontvangen van personen die hetzelfde kanaal en

code gebruiken. De spreker blijft gedempt tot de correcte CTCSS toon

ontvangen is.

Om 38 verschillende CTCSS tonen in RX en TX te ontvangen, volg

deze stappen:

1. Schakel de radio in.

2. Selecteer via de knoppen

p/q één van de 8 kanalen.

3. Druk tweemaal op de knop “menu/

” tot het scherm het

geselecteerde kanaal weergeeft met de knipperende CTCSS toon

4. Selecteer via de knoppen

p/q de gewenste CTCSS toon.

5. Om de instelling te bevestigen, druk op PTT.

De radio zendt nu off en ontvangt via de geprogrammeerde CTCSS

toon. Indien u geen CTCSS toon wilt gebruiken, selecteer “00”.
