7. Preparation
After the machine has been properly set up and
connected according to these instructions, you can
now prepare it for the dispensing operation:
P Check first whether cleaning is required as
described in chapter 10.
7.a Filling
P Check first if the faucet has been turned on.
Place a container with milk next to the machine,
for example, in the optional refrigerator MELITTA

bar-cube mc-cw and place the milk suction
hose in the milk container.
Open the lid of the bean container. If your
machine is equipped with two bean containers,
fill the …
– Espresso beans in the left and
– the coffee beans in the right container.
Always fill the container completely to be able to
operated the filling levels as described at c).
Close all lids again.
7.b Switching ON / OFF
The machine is switched on via the menu on the
display and not via a line switch.
If you hold one of the chip keys before the
contact area in the front of the unit so that they
touch perfectly, ...
the basic menu appears on the display.
Select …
– "Switch unit on" or
– "Switch unit off".
For this purpose, always push the button next to
the display.
Caution: Both, after switching on and switching off,
hot water and steam are dispensed for a while -
caused by heating up when switched on and by
flushing the brewing system when switched off.
Make sure that no one reaches into the dispensing
area during this time. Risk of scalding!
With the "Chip key" …
you have access to the wide variety of functions of
the machine. Using the …
green key gives you access only to the basic
functions
yellow key gives you additional access to the
setting functions
without key, only the operator functions can be
accessed, for example, product selection.
Only the basic functions and settings as well as the
operator functions are described in these
instructions. The other functions are reserved for
technical service.

Ontvang uw handleiding per email

Vul uw emailadres in en ontvang de handleiding van Melitta Bar Cube in de taal/talen: Nederlands, Duits, Engels, Frans als bijlage per email.

U ontvangt de handleiding per email binnen enkele minuten. Als u geen email heeft ontvangen, dan heeft u waarschijnlijk een verkeerd emailadres ingevuld of is uw mailbox te vol. Daarnaast kan het zijn dat uw internetprovider een maximum heeft aan de grootte per email. Omdat hier een handleiding wordt meegestuurd, kan het voorkomen dat de email groter is dan toegestaan bij uw provider.
