Note:
◆The speaker/ microphone jack, waterproof performance is guaranteed by
securing the supplied cap. Waterproof performance will not be guaranteed
by connecting an optional speaker/ microphone, etc.
INSTALLING/ REMOVING THE BATTERY PACK
1To install the battery pack, align the base of the
battery pack with the transceiver, then press
the battery pack into place until the lock lever is
secure.

up, then pull the battery pack away from the

SWITCHING POWER ON/OFF
Turn the Power switch/ Volume control clockwise to switch the transceiver ON.
Turn the Power switch/ Volume control counterclockwise fully to switch the
transceiver OFF.
ADJUSTING THE VOLUME
Rotate the Power switch/ Volume control to adjust the volume. Clockwise
increases the volume and counterclockwise decreases it.
SELECTING A CHANNEL
Rotate the Channel selector to select your desired channel.
MAKE A CALL
1 Select the desired channel.
2 Press the button programmed as [Monitor/ Monitor Momentary] or [Squelch
Off / Squelch Off Momentary] (default setting: Side key) to check whether or
not the channel is free.
• If the channel is busy, wait until it becomes free.
3 To make a call, press and hold the PTT switch and speak to the microphone.
• For best sound quality, hold the transceiver approximately 3 ~ 4 cm (1.5
inches) from your mouth.
4 Release the PTT switch to receive.
• If QT/DQT has been programmed on the selected channel, you will hear a
call only if the received signal matches your transceiver settings.

Remarque:
◆Pour la prise microphone/haut-parleur, la fi xation du capuchon fourni
garantit une étanchéité. La performance en matière d’étanchéité ne sera
pas garantie en connectant un haut-parleur/microphone en option, etc.
POSE/ DÉPOSE DU BLOC PILES
1Pour installer le bloc-piles, alignez la base du
bloc-piles avec l’émetteur-récepteur, puis poussez
sur le bloc-piles pour qu’il s’enclenche sur les
leviers de verrouillage.

pour le retirer de l’émetteur-récepteur.

MISE SOUS/ HORS TENSION
Tournez le commutateur d’alimentation/ commande de volume dans le sens
horaire pour mettre l’émetteur-récepteur sous.
Tournez le commutateur d’alimentation/ commande de volume dans le sens anti-
horaire pour mettre l’émetteur-récepteur hors tension.
RÉGLAGE DU VOLUME
Tournez le commutateur d’alimentation/ commande de volume pour régler le
volume. Dans le sens horaire, le volume augmente et dans le sens anti-horaire, il
diminue.
SÉLECTION D’UN CANAL
Sélectionnez le canal souhaité à l’aide de Sélecteur de canal.
PASSER UN APPEL
1 Sélectionnez la zone et le canal voulus.
2 Appuyez sur le bouton programmé pour la fonction [Surveillance/
Surveillance momentanée] ou [Silencieux désactivé/ Silencieux
désactivé momentané] (réglage par défaut: touche latérale) pour savoir si le
canal est libre ou non.
• Si le canal est occupé, attendez qu’il se libère.
3 Pour passer un appel, appuyez et maintenez enfoncé sur le commutateur PTT
et parlez au microphone.
• Pour une meilleure qualité du son, tenez l‘émetteur-récepteur à environ 3 ~
4 cm de votre bouche.
4 Relâchez le commutateur PTT pour recevoir.
• Si QT/DQT a été programmé sur le canal sélectionné, vous entendrez
un appel uniquement si le signal reçu correspond aux réglages de votre
émetteur-récepteur.

INSTALACIÓN/ EXTRACCIÓN DE LA BATERÍA
1Para instalar la batería, alinee la base de la
batería con el transceptor; a continuación,
presione la batería en el transceptor hasta que el
pestillo de bloqueo esté en posición asegurada.

Gire el interruptor de encendido/ control de volumen hacia la derecha

apagar el transceptor.
AJUSTE DEL VOLUMEN
Gire el interruptor de encendido/ control de volumen para ajustar el volumen.
Hacia la derecha aumenta el nivel de volumen y hacia la izquierda, lo reduce.
SELECCIONE UN CANAL
Seleccione el canal deseado mediante el Selector de canales.
REALICE UNA LLAMADA
1 Seleccione el canal deseados.
2 Pulse el tecla programado con la función [Monitor/Monitor momentáneo] o
[Desactivar silenciamiento/Desactivar silenciamiento momentáneo] (valor
predeterminado: Tecla lateral) para comprobar si el canal está libre.
• Si el canal está ocupado, espere hasta que quede libre.
3 Para realizar una llamada, mantenga pulsado el conmutador PTT y hable al
micrófono.
• Para obtener una calidad de sonido optima, sujete el transceptor a 3 ó 4 cm
de la boca.
4 Suelte el conmutador PTT para recibir.e.
• Si se ha programado la función de QT/DQT en el canal seleccionado, sólo
oirá las llamadas en las que la señal recibida coincida con la configuración
del transceptor.

INSTALLAZIONE/ RIMOZIONE DEL PACCO BATTERIA
1Dopo averne allineato la base del pacco batteria
con la sede del ricetrasmettitore premerlo in
posizione sino a quando la leva di bloccaggio
s’innesta saldamente.

ACCENSIONE E SPEGNIMENTO
Ruotare l’interruttore di accensione/ regolatore di volume in senso orario per
accendere il ricetrasmettitore.
Ruotare l’interruttore di accensione/ regolatore di volume in senso antiorario per
spegnere il ricetrasmettitore.
REGOLAZIONE DEL VOLUME
Ruotare l’interruttore di accensione/ regolatore di volume per eseguire la
regolazione. Ruotandolo in senso orario si aumenta il volume e in senso antiorario
lo si abbassa.
SELEZIONE DI UN CANALE
Selezionare il canale desiderato utilizzando Selettore canale.
EFFETTUARE UNA CHIAMATA
1 Selezionare il canale desiderati.
2 Premere il pulsante programmato come [Controllo/Controllo momentaneo]
o [Squelch disattivato/Squelch disattivato momentaneamente]
(impostazione predefi nita: pulsante Lato) per controllare se il canale è libero o
meno.
• Se il canale è occupato, attendere fino a che si libera.
3 Per eff ettuare una chiamata, tenere premuto l’interruttore PTT e parlare nel
microfono.
• Per ottenere una migliore qualità del suono, tenere il ricetrasmettitore a circa
3 ~ 4 cm dalla bocca.
4 Rilasciare l’interruttore PTT per la ricezione.
• Se sul canale selezionato è stata programmato uno specifico tipo di QT/
DQT, la ricezione da parte di un altro corrispondente potrà avvenire solo
se le segnalazioni risulteranno compatibili ed idonee al formato utilizzato in
fase di programmazione.

This transceiver allows you to reprogram each of the channels with diff erent frequencies and QT (Quiet
Talk)/ DQT (Digital Quiet Talk) settings. The table below lists the default channel settings.
