SAFETY NOTES
________________________________________________________________
To use your system as safely as possible, you should observe the following
notes.
Entries at the device, such as the entry of the destination, the route selection,
etc., should carried out when the vehicle is stopped.
When this system is used correctly, it will help you to reach your destination. As
the driver, you alone are responsible for the safe operation of your vehicle and
for the safety of your passengers.
Before using the system on a trip, please learn how to operate it. Read the operat-
ing instructions for the navigation system carefully. Pass these operating instruc-
tions on to anyone who may want to use the same vehicle.
Road conditions, including possible driving restrictions (no left turn, blocked
road, etc.), change frequently. Therefore, before you follow an instruction of the
system, make sure you can do so safely and legally.
This system cannot inform you about issues such as the quality of a road or the
availability of rescue services. Under no circumstance is this system meant to
substitute the judgement of the individual driver.
When you go for a first test drive, you should do so in a familiar area. This is the
best way to learn how to use the navigation system.
