All operating functions and basic settings can be
carried out using the TP 716 SAT universal remote
control unit.
The remote control unit can also be used to control
TV sets and video recorder from GRUNDIG.
Several keys on the remote control have special
functions in the menu. These are explained in the
relevant chapters.
Inserting or replacing batteries
Insert the batteries supplied into the remote control
unit. Observe correct polarity!

It is absolutely necessary to replace exhausted
batteries. We can assume no liability for damage
due to a leaking battery.
The batteries supplied are free of heavy metals such
as mercury or nickel-cadmium.

Do not dispose of the used battery as domestic
waste. Please be aware of local laws and regula-
tions concerning used batteries.

Switches the receiver to stand-by and
from stand-by back to the last selected
programme position (last station
memory).

The required programme position is
selected directly by pressing the digit
keys, e.g. P 123.
When selecting a multi-digit pro-
gramme position, the digits are entered
in order from left to right. So, in the
example, you would enter 1, 2 and 3.
In this way you can select up to 300
SAT programme positions (SAT TV and
SAT radio).

When in a menu: exit without saving.
