Selecting the dubbing language
If several languages are available on the current DVD, the sound is
played back in the language you have selected.
If the language you select is not on the DVD, the DVD/VCR recorder
automatically selects first audio language available.

If subtitles are available on the current DVD, they are first shown in

Tuning television stations
The DVD/VCR recorder has its own receiver unit. It can receive and
record from television stations independently of the television. This
means the TV channels have to be tuned on the DVD/VCR recorder.
During this setting, the clock is automatically updated. However, this
is only possible if channel position 1 is occupied by a station with
teletext.
1 After the subtitle language has been confirmed the search
starts.
The DVD/VCR recorder searches all channels for television
stations, then sorts and saves them. The automatic search may
take several minutes.
– The message: »Search complete« appears. The initial setup is
complete, the DVD/VCR recorder switches to station position
1.
