FUNCTIONS: (CONTINUED)

SINGLE: Pressing the SINGLE button engages SINGLEmode, in this
mode the CDX-2400 will play one song and then stop. Pressing the
SINGLE button again will thenactivateCONTINUOUS mode causing
the unit to play continuously (after the last track, the unit will return to
the first track of the disc and continue to play).
TIME: The TIME BUTTON switches the time display between three
available sources, these three are TIME ELAPSED on the track, TIME
REMAINING on the disc and and TIME REMAINING on the track.
TIME ELAPSED indicates how much time has currently gone by since the
play button was pressed, TIME REMAING ON DISC will count down the
time remaining on the entire disc and TIME REMAINING ON TRACK
counts down the time that is left before the end of the track.
PITCH: Pushing the PITCH button (the button will light upblue) activates
the PITCHCONTROLSLIDE. The pitch or speed of the CD will change
plus or minus 12% depending on the position of the PITCH CONTROL
SLIDER. Push the PITCHbuttonagain to deactivate this mode.
PITCH CONTROL SLIDE: Moving the PITCHCONTROL SLIDE
up ordownwill lower or raise the pitch percentage +or - 12%.
PITCH BEND: Pushing the PITCHBEND BUTTONS will automatically
raise thepitch up to+16% or lower thepitch down to -16% fromthe
existing pitch setting. Releasingthe buttons will return the pitch
to theoriginal pitch setting. You canuse this function tomatch the beat
when mixingfrom one song to another
LOOPSECTION:A LOOP repeatsthe section between theentry point
(IN) and the exitpoint (OUT). To set aloop whilethe unit is playing,
start by pressing theIN BUTTON (it willlight up)and when you reach
the desiredend loop point pressthe OUT BUTTON (itwill also lightup).
The loop will continueplayinguntil youpress the OUT BUTTONagain
allowing themusic to continue from that point on,to re-engage the loop
you must pressthe RELOOP BUTTON. When youhave releasedyour
loop the OUT BUTTON will turn OFF and theIN BUTTON will remain lit
to indicatethat yourloop is stored in theCDX-2400 memory. Pressing
the INBUTTON againwhile the unit is playing will erase the previously
saved loop while saving your new loop entry point. Press OUT toexit the
loop and savea newcomplete loop.
PressRELOOP toreturn to thebeginningof the previouslysavedloop
from normalplay. PressRELOOP repeatedly tocause theloop to stutter.
NOTE: THE FIRST LOOP WILL HAVE APAUSE AT THE EXIT POINT,
WHILEALL OTHERSWILL BE SEAMLESS.
PLAY/PAUSE: Each press of thePLAY/PAUSEBUTTON
causesthe operationto changefrom PLAYto PAUSE or fromPAUSE
back to PLAY. The PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON remainslit when in PLAY
mode, while itblinks inPAUSE mode.
CUE: While the unit isplayingand afterthe cue point has been
programmed,pressing CUE will cause theCD player to enterthe
PAUSE mode (PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON blinks)at the programmed cue
point(the CUE LED is lit). Holding down the CUE button
changes the functionto preview ,and allowsyouto stutterstart or play
from theprogrammedCUE POINT Releasing the CUE button will return
the CDto the preset CUE point.
STOPBUTTON: Whenpressed the STOP BUTTON stops the playback
of the CD player.

TRACK SELECTION:The TRACK SELECTION buttons letyou select
the track toplay. +10allows you to scanthroughthe track selection
in increments of 10.TRACK SKIP allows you to scan through each
track one ata time.

TROUBLESHOOTING:
- If a discwill not play, check to see if the disc was loadedcorrectly
(labelside up).Also check the disc forexcessive dirt, scratches,etc.
- If the disc turnsbut there is no sound,check thecable connections,
if they are ok,check youramplifieror reciever.
-If the CDskips, check the CD for dirt or scratches. Do notassume that
the CDplayer is defective. Many cd’sare recorded outof spec and
will skip on mostor all CDplayers. Before sending the unit for repair,
try playing aCD that you are sureplaysproperly.
