4. Smooth the bag out, if possible. Place
the open edge of the bag inside the
appliance and push the bag in until
it is stopped by the end stops (16) in
the appliance. Close the lid.
5. Press the VAC SEAL (5) button or the
SEAL button (4).
The associated indicator light comes
on.
The lock (15) locks the lid.
The sealing or vacuum-sealing starts.
6. Once the sealing or vacuum sealing
process is complete, the lid automati-
cally unlocks again.
Note!
• You can interrupt the vacuum or seal-
ing process at any time by pressing
the STOP button (7).
• Wait at least 60 seconds between
each sealing.
Settings
• Press the FOOD (2) button to choose
between dry and wet foods.
The associated indicator light comes
on.
The vacuum-sealing time is longer
with wet foods.
• Press the PRESSURE (3) button to
choose between normal and gentle
vacuum-sealing.
The associated indicator light comes
on.
The vacuum-sealing time is longer
with fragile foods.
• You can interrupt the vacuum process
or continue the sealing process at any
time by pressing the SEAL button (4).
VACUUM-SEALING BOTTLES
AND CONTAINERS
If you have vacuum containers or wine
corks, you can use the appliance to
suck the air out of the containers or wine
bottles using the hose provided, allowing
the contents to last longer.
• Insert the hose into the hose connec-
tion (13).
• Attach the hose to the wine cork or
the vacuum container. There must be
at least 2.5 cm clearance at the top of
the container.
• Briefly press the VACUUM/MARI-
NATE button (1). The associated
indicator light flashes. The appliance
automatically switches off once the
necessary vacuum pressure has
been formed in the container.
• Do not use plastic bottles or similar.
MARINATING
Normally, meat needs to marinate for
several hours, but using vacuum pressure
opens the pores in the meat so that the
marinade can penetrate in 20 minutes.
• Insert the hose into the hose connec-
tion (13).
• Press and hold the VACUUM/MARI-
NATE button (1) for 3 seconds. The
associated indicator light comes on
permanently.
The appliance switches off automatically
when the marinating process is complete.
