USING THE FLOOR BRUSH WITH THE CLOTH
Use a cotton cloth on the oor brush to absorb dirt and protect delicate surfaces. It can
also be used on vertical washable surfaces following the same procedure as the oor.
Put the cotton cloth under the oor brush and put the edges of the cloth under the
clamps. Once the cloth is too wet or too dirty, a clean cloth should replace the dirty
cloth. Old terry-cloth towels can be used or additional cloths can be purchased from
the retailer. If the oor surface is rough or textured, then use the bristles underneath
the oor brush to scrub the rough or textured oor. Then replace the cotton cloth to
absorb the loosened dirt.
CAUTION: The cloth will heat up. Take care when removing the cloth or replacing it
with a clean cloth.
IMPORTANT: When cleaning timber oors, parquetry, painted walls and ceilings and
other delicate surfaces make sure that the cotton cloth is securely attached to the
bottom of the oor brush and that none of the bristles break through. Please note
that bristles may break through thin cloths. If you don’t have a thick enough cloth,
please use 2 cloths.
ACCESSORIES
WINDOW CLEANER: This attachment is very useful for cleaning windows
and glass surfaces. Connect the window cleaner to the steam gun. Apply
steam abundantly, rub with the soft spongy edge then remove excess
water and dirt with the glass wiping edge (squeegee).
Wipe the squeegee with a cloth after every stroke.
CAUTION:
When cleaning windows, always avoid any sudden changes in temperature to
prevent glass breaking or cracking. Do not use on thin panes of glass or glass with
a thin wire mesh embedded in the glass.
DETAIL NOZZLE: This attachment is very useful for cleaning surfaces that
are difcult to reach. It is ideal for door and window tracks, shower door
tracks, wall grout in showers etc. The detail nozzle will t directly onto
the steam gun or it may be used with extension tubes.
DETAIL NYLON BRUSH: This brush is best used for cleaning grout found
in-between tiles or for any other surface that requires a bristle to do
light scrubbing. Push the detail brush onto the end of the detail nozzle.
PALETTE KNIFE: This attachement is best for removing small amounts of
wallpaper and for removing anything that can be scraped from a at
surface e.g. grease deposits in an oven. It is also useful when defrosting
freezers by scrapping away softened ice.
To use: Push the palette knife onto the end of the detail nozzle.
DETAIL BRASS BRUSH: This brush is best used for cleaning grease on oven
racks or grills and inside the enamel interior of ovens. To increase the
surface area of the brass brush, attach a small stainless steel scourer on
the brass brush to assist with removing baked on grease. Push the brass
brush onto the end of the detail nozzle.
