Quick Release for EUFAB Bike Carrier Prod. No. 11400
This quick release fits all EUFAB tow hitch carriers with the exception of
carrier Bike Four prod. no. 11437
Depending on the bike carrier, longer M8 fixing screws may be needed. These
are not included in the scope of delivery, but are available from dealers.
Fix the quick connection firmly to the carrier table using the M8 screws, disks
and M8 self-locking nuts. Tighten this connection solidly.
Before placing the bike carrier on the tow hitch, familiarise yourself with the
quick release system. See pictures.
Place the bike carrier on the tow hitch of your vehicle with the quick release
open. Then press down the quick release lever until the lever locks into place.
Now use the wrench to close the quick release and remove the wrench.
Ensure that you keep the wrench in a safe place. The bike carrier is now
also protected against theft. Check that the bike carrier is sitting firmly and
correctly on the tow hitch. If the carrier still twists to the side, take the carrier
off of the tow hitch again and tighten the adjustment screw (located on the side
of the quick release) a little, having first loosened the locknut. Then retighten
the locknut. Repeat this procedure as necessary until the carrier is fitted safely
and firmly.
