and internet connection may experience a sluggish performance. For this
reason we recommend you to set a maximum to this download speed.
Although Transmission has UPnP support, it is possible you have to open the
Transmission port manually on your modem or router in case your modem or router
does not support UPnP functions. The used port can be found at the settings page of
Transmission and can also be changed. Refer to the manual of your modem or router
how to open ports if necessary.
14.0 Other functions
Besides the already mentioned functions, there are a few functions we will highlight:
Parental Control:
The media player also has a Parental Control option. Using this option you are able to
block specific age rated material from you children. This way, you can be sure your
children are not exposed to excessive violence or 18+ contents.
1. Use the navigation buttons to select ‘Setup’ and press the ‘OK’ button.’
2. Select ‘Misc’ and press the ‘OK’ button.
3. Select ‘Parental Control’ and press the ‘OK’ button. A password will be asked.
The default password is ‘0.0.0.0’. Fill in this password and press the ‘OK’ button.
4. In order to change the parental control password: Select ‘Change password’ and
press the ‘OK’ button. At ‘Input Pasword’ you need to fill in the default password.
At ‘Input New Password’ you need to fill in a new password. Confirm the new
password at ‘Confirm New Password’. Press the ‘OK’ button.
5. Select ‘DVD Rating’ and press the ‘OK’ button. Select the desired DVD rating.
This is only usable if the played DVD’s do have an age rating. Press the ‘OK’
button.
6. Select ‘Region’ and press the ‘OK’ button. Select the corresponding region and
press the ‘OK’ button.
7. Select ‘Block Unrated TV’ and press the ’OK’ button. In case you want to block
television broadcasting which do not have a rating at all, you can select ‘On’ and
press the ‘OK’ button.
8. Select ‘TV Rating’ and press the ‘OK’ button. You can select the ‘TV Rating’ if
necessary.
Screen Saver:
The media player will automatically use a default screen saver when no other
functions are in use while the media player is turned on. If desired, you can change
the activation time for the screensaver, but you can also select whether the screen
saver uses your own images as screen saver. To change the screen saver settings:
