WICHTIG
Überprüfen Sie, ob die örtliche Netzspannung den
Angaben auf dem Typenschild entspricht. Das Gerät darf
nur gemäß der Nennauslegung verwendet werden.
Wenn das Netzkabel des Geräts beschädigt ist, ziehen Sie
sofort den Stecker aus der Steckdose. Das Netzkabel darf
nur von Dyson oder einem unserer Fachhändler ersetzt
werden, da hierfür Spezialwerkzeuge und besondere
Reparaturverfahren notwendig sind.
Verwenden Sie Ihren Staubsauger nicht, wenn Kabel oder
Stecker beschädigt, der Staubsauger beschädigt,
fallengelassen oder in Kontakt mit Wasser oder einer
anderen Flüssigkeit gebracht wurde. Sollte dies der Fall
sein, rufen Sie bitte den Dyson Kundendienst an.

Ein Musterexemplar dieses Produkts wurde überprüft, und
es wurde festgestellt, daß es die folgenden europäischen
Richtlinien erfüllt: Richtlinie 73/23/EWG über elektrische

remplacé que par Dyson ou son agent désigné.
Ne pas utiliser l’aspirateur si le câble, la prise ou l’appareil
sont endommagés, si l’aspirateur est tombé ou vient d’être
en contact avec de l’eau ou tout autre liquide. Dans ce cas,
contacter le Service Consommateurs Dyson.

Check that your supply corresponds to that shown on the
rating plate. The appliance must only be used as rated.
For your convenience this appliance is
supplied with a plug which is fitted with a 13amp fuse of
the appropriate rating.
Never put the plug into the socket outlet without the fuse
cover fitted. Replacement fuse covers are available from
Dyson Customer Care. If the plug supplied is not suitable
for your socket outlet, it should be cut off and
destroyed/safely disposed of. Warning: Under no
circumstances should the severed plug be inserted
into a 13A socket; serious danger of electric shock
would result from the exposed wires.
The mains lead can then be shortened to the minimum
required length, suitably prepared, and the correct style of
plug to suit your household wiring system fitted. The
following wiring instructions should be followed. If in
doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance
with the following codes.
Brown – Live Blue – Neutral
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead may not
correspond with the colours or markings identifying the
terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured Blue must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured
Black.
The wire that is coloured Brown must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured Red.
Under no circumstances should either of these wires be
connected to the earth terminal of a three pin plug which
is marked with the letter E or coloured Green or Green
and Yellow.
Always ensure that the cable clamp is fitted and that it
clamps the cable outer and NOT the coloured wires.
Ensure the appliance is fitted with an 13amp ASTA
approved fuse to BS1362.
If the supply cord of the appliance is damaged, disconnect
the appliance from the socket outlet immediately. The
supply cord must be replaced only by Dyson Appliances
Ltd. or their appointed agent, as special purpose tools and
service techniques are required.
Do not use the cleaner if the cord or plug are damaged or
if the cleaner has been damaged, dropped or has come
into contact with water or any other liquid. In these cases,
contact the Helpline.
European conformity information: a sample of this
product has been tested and found to be in conformity with
the following European Directives: 73/23/EEC Low voltage
