1 - MISE EN SERVICE
AVERTISSEMENTS ET CONSEILS IMPORTANTS
Pour votre sécurité, observez les recommandations suivantes :
- Lisez attentivement ce mode d'emploi pour vous familiariser avec l'appareil avant de l'as-
sembler à son récipient de gaz. Respectez les instructions de ce mode d'emploi ainsi que
les consignes de sécurité figurant sur les cartouches Campingaz
®
CP250. Il en va de votre
sécurité et de celle de votre entourage.
- Conservez cette notice pour la relire plus tard en cas de besoin.
- Pour un enfant, même une brûlure légère peut parfois avoir de graves conséquences.
Votre appareil en fonctionnement atteint des températures élevées. Veillez à ce que
vos enfants ne le touchent pas lors de son utilisation.
- Votre appareil doit être utilisé exclusivement avec les cartouches Campingaz
®
CP250. Il
peut-être dangereux d'essayer d'utiliser d'autres récipients de gaz. La société Campingaz
®
décline toute responsabilité en cas d'utilisation d'une cartouche de toute autre marque.
- Votre appareil ne doit être utilisé que dans des locaux suffisamment aérés (minimum
2 m
3
/h/kW) et éloigné de matériaux inflammables.
- Cet appareil n'est pas raccordé à un dispositif d'évacuation des produits de la combustion.
Il doit être installé et raccordé conformément aux règles d'installation en vigueur. Une atten-
tion particulière sera accordée aux dispositions applicables en matière de ventilation.
- L'utilisation d'un appareil de cuisson au gaz conduit à la production de chaleur et d'humi-
dité dans le local où il est installé. Veillez à assurer une bonne aération de la cuisine : main-
tenir ouverts les orifices d'aération naturelle, ou installer un dispositif d'aération mécanique
(hotte de ventilation mécanique). Une utilisation intensive et prolongée de l'appareil peut
nécessiter une aération supplémentaire, par exemple en ouvrant une fenêtre, ou une aéra-
tion plus efficace, par exemple en augmentant la puissance de la ventilation mécanique si
elle existe.
- N'utilisez pas un appareil qui fuit, qui fonctionne mal ou qui est endommagé. Rapportez-le
à votre revendeur qui vous indiquera le service après-vente le plus proche.
- Ne modifiez jamais votre appareil, ne l'utilisez pas pour des applications auxquelles il n'est
pas destiné.
- Ne pas utiliser de récipients de diamètre inférieur à 12 cm ou supérieur à 28 cm. N'utilisez
pas de récipients à base concave ou convexe.
Ne pas utiliser cet appareil dans une caravane, un véhicule, une tente, un abri, une
cabane ou autre petit espace clos.
Ne pas utiliser l'appareil pendant votre sommeil ou sans surveillance.
Cet appareil à gaz fonctionnant sur le principe de la combustion consomme de l'oxy-
gène et rejette des substances et gaz qui peuvent être dangereux, tel que le monoxyde
de carbone (CO).
Le monoxyde de carbone, inodore et incolore, peut provoquer des malaises et des
symptômes qui rappellent la grippe, voire éventuellement la mort si l'appareil est uti-
lisé à l'intérieur d'un petit espace clos sans ventilation adéquate.
A) Préparation de l'appareil
a) Sortez l'appareil et ses accessoires de la boîte
b) Posez l'appareil sur une surface stable et horizontale.
c) Vérifiez que le levier (2) est en position " Off " (sinon la cartouche ne pourra pas être mise
en place) et que le volant (1) du robinet de gaz est en position fermée (tourner dans le sens
des aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'à la position (). (fig. 1).
d) Ouvrez le compartiment cartouche (7).
e) S'assurer de la présence et du bon état du joint d'étanchéité se trouvant à l’intérieur du loge-
ment interne du détendeur (fig. 5). Ne pas utiliser l'appareil si le joint manque ou est
détérioré, le rapporter à votre revendeur.
f) Mettre en place la cartouche (4). L'encoche (5) de la collerette de valve doit être positionnée
impérativement vers le haut en face de la lame métallique (6). (fig. 2).
g) Refermez le compartiment cartouche (7). En cas de résistance ou d'impossibilité de ferme-
ture de la porte, ré-exécutez le point c). Si le problème persiste, rapportez l'appareil à votre
revendeur.
B) Allumage
L'appareil est équipé d'un allumeur piézo électrique.
a) Abaissez le levier (2) de branchement de la cartouche en position " On " et vérifiez que la
lame métallique (6) est bien positionnée dans l'encoche (5) de la collerette de la cartouche.
Si vous sentez une odeur de gaz ou qu'un bruit de sifflement se produit avant d'allumer votre
appareil, mettez-le immédiatement à l'extérieur, dans un endroit très ventilé, sans source
d'inflammation, où la fuite pourra être recherchée et arrêtée. Si vous voulez vérifier l'étan-
chéité de votre appareil, faites-le à l'extérieur. Ne recherchez pas les fuites avec une flamme,
utilisez un liquide détecteur de fuite gazeuse.
b) Maintenez enfoncé le bouton (3) de la sécurité thermoélectrique (uniquement pour la version " S ").
c) Tournez le volant (1) dans le sens contraire de celui des aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'au
déclic ( ) annonçant la production de l'étincelle . Si l'allumage ne se produit pas, ramenez
le volant en position () et recommencez l'opération. (fig. 3)
d) Si 3 essais s'avèrent infructueux, fermez le robinet en tournant le volant jusqu'à la position
() et vérifiez si la cartouche contient du gaz (bruit de liquide en la secouant) avant de
recommencer les opérations précédentes. (Si une cartouche vide est en place, lire le para-
graphe 2) "Changement de cartouche").
e) Relâchez le bouton (3) après 10 secondes de fonctionnement du brûleur (uniquement pour
la version "S").
f) Réglez la flamme à la dimension du récipient ou de l'accessoire utilisé.
C) Arrêt
a) Fermez le robinet en tournant le volant (1) dans le sens de rotation des aiguilles d'une mon-
tre jusqu'à la position ().
b) Mettez le levier (2) en position "Off ".
2 - CHANGEMENT DE CARTOUCHE
RAPPEL :
Pour la mise en place ou le démontage d'une cartouche, opérez toujours dans un endroit
très aéré et jamais en présence d'une flamme, source de chaleur ou étincelle (cigarette,
appareil électrique, cuisinière, etc.), loin d'autres personnes et de matériaux inflammables,
de préférence à l'extérieur.

La cartouche peut être retirée de l'appareil même si elle n'est pas complètement vide.
a) Vérifiez que l'arrivée du gaz est bien fermée en tournant le volant (1) dans le sens de rota-
tion des aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'à la position () et que le brûleur (8) est éteint.
b) Déconnectez la cartouche en mettant le levier (2) en position “Off”.
c) Ouvrez le compartiment cartouche (7) et retirez celle-ci en la levant par l'arrière.
d) Ne jetez jamais une cartouche qui n'est pas vide (vérifiez avant l'absence de bruit de liquide
en la secouant).
e) Vérifier qu'aucune coulure d'aliment n'a obstrué le logement interne du détendeur de l'appa-
reil (fig. 5) avant d'assembler une nouvelle cartouche.
f) Vérifier la présence et le bon état du joint (fig. 5).
g) Mettez en place une nouvelle cartouche en suivant les instructions de paragraphe 1 - A) c)
d) e) et f).
Attention : En cas de changement de cartouche au cours de l'utilisation, ne touchez pas les sur-
faces chaudes de l'appareil (brûleur, support de casserole, plaque...).
3 - DISPOSITIFS DE SECURITE
a) La cartouche ne peut être mise en place que si le levier (2) est en position "Off" et le volant
(1) du robinet en position fermée ().
b) Si la pression dans la cartouche est trop élevée (surchauffe due à une surface trop impor-
tante sur la grille de cuisson par exemple), un dispositif intégré débranche la cartouche et le
levier (2) se met en position "Off". Dans ce cas, il faut retirer la cartouche et la laisser refroi -
dir (passer sous l'eau par exemple) avant de la réutiliser ou utiliser une nouvelle cartouche
en opérant selon “2 - Changement de cartouche”.
c) Dans le cas de la version " S ", le thermocouple placé dans la flamme commande une vanne
qui coupe automatiquement l'arrivée du gaz au brûleur lorsque celui-ci s'éteint (courant d'air
ou débordement de liquides par exemple). Pour ré allumer, procédez suivant les instructions
du paragraphe 1-B).
4 - FONCTION “GRILL”
(Accessoires en option ou livrés selon modèles)
a) Mettez en place le bac à eau récupérateur de graisses (11). Vérifiez que le compartiment à
eau est bien stable sur les bras en aluminium (9). (fig. 4)
b) Remplissez le bac avec environ 0,3 litre d'eau et positionnez la plaque de cuisson (12) cen-
trée sur le compartiment à eau. (fig. 4)
c) Procédez à l'allumage du brûleur suivant le paragraphe 1-B) et vérifiez que la flamme est
visible, sous la plaque de cuisson.
d) Cuisson : La plaque de cuisson (12) est revêtue d'un traitement anti-adhérent de haute qua-
lité qui permet une cuisson saine.
Après 2,5 minutes de préchauffage maximum, disposez les aliments et réglez la puis-
sance de cuisson à votre convenance avec le volant (1). Il est également possible de modu-
ler l'intensité de la cuisson selon le positionnement des aliments sur la plaque : cuisson plus
vive au centre, plus modérée vers l'extérieur.
e) Quand la cuisson est terminée, éteignez la flamme en procédant suivant les instructions du
paragraphe 1-C).
f) Attention : après l'arrêt du brûleur, la plaque de cuisson (12) reste chaude pendant environ
15 minutes. Ne manipulez pas la plaque de cuisson tant qu'elle est chaude.
5 - ENTRETIEN - RANGEMENT
Après refroidissement complet de votre appareil :
1- Nettoyage : Nettoyez les parties grasses avec de l'eau et du savon ou un produit détergeant
non abrasif. N'utilisez pas de tampon récurant ni de produits abrasifs sur les plaques de cuis-
son et le compartiment à eau sous risque de détériorer le revêtement anti-adhésif.
2- Rangement
a) Vérifiez que le levier (2) est en position "Off"
b) Mettez l'appareil dans un endroit frais, sec et aéré, hors de portée des enfants.
6 - PRECAUTIONS D'EMPLOI
- N'utilisez pas votre réchaud à moins de 20 cm d'une paroi ou d'un objet combustible.
Posez l'appareil sur une surface horizontale et stable.
- Si vous utilisez votre appareil dans un local ou une cuisine, celui-ci doit respecter les
conditions réglementaires d'aération qui permettent de fournir l'air nécessaire à la
combustion et d'éviter la création de mélange à teneur dangereuse en gaz non brûlé
(2m
3
/h/kW).
- Si vous utilisez la plaque de cuisson “grill” (12), assurez vous toujours de la pré-
sence d'eau dans le compartiment à eau (11).
- Ne laissez jamais fonctionner les plaques de cuisson sans aliments au-delà du temps
de préchauffage sous peine de détérioration du revêtement anti-adhésif.
- Attendez le refroidissement complet de l'appareil avant toute manipulation pour le
rangement.
7 - VOTRE APPAREIL NE FONCTIONNE PAS, QUE FAIRE ?
En cas de problème (la cartouche contient encore du gaz mais l'appareil ne s'allume pas)
a) Si l'étincelle de l'allumeur piézo électrique ne se produit pas, rapprochez l'électrode (10) du
brûleur (8) et vérifier qu'aucun résidu ne se trouve entre l'électrode et le brûleur.
b) Dans tous les autres cas, n'essayez pas de réparer l'appareil vous-même, rapportez-le à
votre revendeur.
8 - CONDITIONS D’APPLICATION DE LA GARANTIE
Le produit bénéficie d'une garantie totale pièces et main d'œuvre de 2 ans à compter de sa date
d'achat, à l'exclusion des frais de retour du produit qui restent à la charge du consommateur. La
garantie s'applique lorsque le produit livré n'est pas conforme à la commande ou lorsqu'il est
défaillant, dès lors que la réclamation est accompagnée d'une pièce justificative de la date
d'achat (ex: facture, ticket de caisse). Le produit devra être retourné franco, complet et non
démonté, à l'un des centres de service après-vente agréés, et la réclamation décrira la nature du
problème constaté. Le produit faisant l'objet de la réclamation pourra être soit réparé, remplacé
ou remboursé, en tout ou partie. La garantie est nulle et ne s'applique pas lorsque le dommage
est survenu du fait (i) d'un emploi ou stockage incorrect du produit, (ii) d'un défaut d'entretien du
produit ou d'un entretien non-conforme aux instructions d'utilisation, (iii) de la réparation, modifi-
cation, entretien du produit par des tiers non agréés, (iv) de l'utilisation de pièces de rechange
qui ne seraient pas d'origine.

The models with "STOPGAZ SYSTEM" are referred to as the "S" version" in these instructions.
1 - SETTING YOUR STOVE
WARNINGS AND IMPORTANT SAFETY ADVICE
For your safety, please comply with the following recommendations:
- Read these instructions carefully to familiarize yourself with the appliance before connecting it
to a gas container. Follow these instructions and also the safety instructions found on the CP250
Campingaz
®
cartridges. Your safety and the safety of the people with you depend upon it.
- Keep these instructions so they can be referred to at a later date when needed.
- For a child, even a slight burn may sometimes have serious consequences. When in
use, your appliance becomes very hot. Always ensure that children do not touch the
appliance whilst in use.
- Your appliance must only be used with CP250 Campingaz
®
cartridges. Using other gas
containers can be dangerous. The company Campingaz
®
disclaims all responsibility if any
other brand of cartridge is used.
- Your appliance must only be used in a well ventilated place (minimum 2 m
3
/h/kW) and away
from inflammable material.
- This cooker has no integral means of evacuating the various products of combustion. It must
be installed and connected in compliance with applicable installation regulations. Particular
care should be taken concerning applicable ventilation requirements.
- The use of a gas cooker generates both heat and humidity in the room in which it is instal-
led. The kitchen must be well ventilated. Keep natural ventilation openings open, or install
some kind of mechanical ventilation system (extractor fan/duct). Long periods of intensive
use may necessitate supplementary ventilation, for example by opening a window, or more
effective ventilation, for example by installing a more powerful extractor fan.
- Do not use an appliance which leaks, works badly or which is damaged. Contact your
stockist who will tell you where you can find the nearest after-sales service.
- Never modify your appliance or use it for a purpose other than that for which it was designed.
- Do not use a container smaller than 12 cm or larger than 28 cm in diameter. Do not use ves-
sels with concave or convex bottoms.
Do not use this product in caravans, cars, tents, huts, sheds or any small enclosed areas.
The product should not be used while sleeping or left unattended.
This product consumes fuel through combustion or consumption of oxygen and gives off
certain substances and gas, which could be dangerous such as carbon monoxide (CO).
Carbon monoxide is an odorless, clear gas that can cause flu-like symptoms, sickness,
illness, and possibly death if produced inside aforesaid enclosed areas through use of
the product without proper ventilation.
A) PREPARING THE APPLIANCE
a) Take the appliance and its accessories out of the box.
b) Place the appliance on a stable and horizontal surface.
c) Check if the lever (2) is in the "Off" position (otherwise the cartridge cannot be installed) and
if the gas valve hand wheel adjuster (1) is closed : turn clockwise to (). (fig. 1)
d) Open the cartridge compartment (7).
e) Check that the seal between the appliance and the gas container is in place and in good condi-
tion before connecting the gas container (see Figure 5). Do not use this appliance if it has
damaged or worn seal.
f) put the cartridge in place (4). The notch (5) must be imperatively placed towards the top
opposite the metal blade (6). (fig. 2)
g) Close the cartridge compartment (7). In case of resistance or impossibility to close the car-
tridge compartment, perform point c) again. Should the problem persist, bring the appliance
back to your local dealer.
B) SWITCHING ON
The appliance is fitted with a piezo electric igniter.
a) Pull the connecting lever (2) of the cartridge down to the "On" position and check that the
metal blade (6) is properly placed in the notch (5).If you smell gas or there is a whistling noise
before lighting your equipment, take it outside immediately in a very well-ventilated area,
away from any ignition source, where you can find and stop the leak. If you want to check
that the appliance is not leaking, do it outside. Do not use a flame to look for leaks - use gas
leak solution.
b) For the "S" version, keep the thermoelectric safety button (3) pressed down.
c) Turn the control knob (1) anti-clockwise until you hear a click indicating the production of the
spark ( ). If the burner does not light, turn the knob back to the () position and repeat
this operation again. (fig. 3)
d) If the appliance fails to light after the 3rd attempt, close the valve by turning the control knob
to the () position and check that the cartridge contains gas (liquid sound when shaking it)
before repeating the above operations. (fig. 3)(If an empty cartridge is in place, read para-
graph 2 "Replacing the cartridge").
e) For "S" version, release the button (3) 10 seconds after the burner has lit.
f) Adjust the size of the flame using the control knob (1).
C) SWITCHING OFF
a) Close the gas valve : turn the knob (1) clockwise until the closing stop is reached ().
b) Put the lever (2) in position "Off".
2 - CHANGING THE CARTRIDGE
REMINDER:
Always insert or remove cartridges in a well ventilated area, where there are no flames, heat
sources or sparks (cigarettes, electrical appliances, cookers, etc.), and well away from other
people and inflammable material. Whenever possible change the cartridge outside.

CP250 CARTRIDGES HAVE VALVES, THEY CAN BE REMOVED FROM
THIS APPLIANCE EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT EMPTY AND FITTED TO OTHER CAMPINGAZ
®
APPLIANCES DESIGNED TO WORK ONLY WITH THESE CARTRIDGES.
The cartridge can be removed from the appliance even if it is not completely empty.
a) Check that the gas inlet is properly closed by turning the control knob (1) clockwise until it
reaches the () position and until the burner (8) is off.
b) Disconnect the cartridge by putting the lever (2) in the "Off" position.
c) Open the cartridge compartment (7) and remove the cartridge by lifting it from behind.
d) Never throw away a cartridge that is not empty (shake it beforehand to check that there is
no sound of liquid).
e) Make sure that no food has dropped into and thus obstructs the equipment regulator inter-
nal housing before installing a new cartridge.
f) Check that the seal between the appliance and the gas container is in place and in good condi-
tion (see Figure 5).
g) Put in a new cartridge by following the instructions in paragraph 1 - A) c) and d).
Caution: If the cartridge is replaced while the appliance is in use, do not touch the hot sur-
faces of the appliance (burner, saucepan holder, plate...).
3 - SAFETY DEVICES
a) The cartridge can only be put in place if the lever (2) is in the "Off" position and if the control
knob (1) of the valve is in the closed position ().
b) If the gas pressure in the cartridge is too high (for instance overheating due to too large a
surface on the cooking grill) a built-in device disconnects the cartridge and the lever (2)
returns to "Off".In this case, you need to remove the cartridge and let it cool down (run it
under water, for example) before reusing it or use a new cartridge following the instructions
in Section 2) "Changing the cartridge".
c) In the case of version "S", the thermocouple placed in the flame controls a valve which auto-
matically turns the gas supply off if the flame is accidentally extinguished (e.g. draughts or
liquid spills). To re-light the burner, follow the instructions in paragraph 1-B).
4 - "GRILL" FUNCTION
(Optional accessory or included with certain models)
a) Set the grease collecting water tray (11). Check that the water compartment is stable on alu-
minium arms (9). (fig. 4)
b) Fill the tray with approx. 0.3 litre of water and place the cooking plate (12) centred on the
water compartment. (fig. 4)
c) Turn on the burner as described in the instructions in paragraph 1-B) and check that the
flame is visible beneath the cooking plate.
d) Cooking: A high-quality non-stick coating has been applied to the cooking plate (12) allowing
healthy cooking.
After 2,5 minutes of preheating maximum, lay the food and use the control knob (1) to
adjust the cooking power to suit your convenience. It is also possible to adjust the cooking
intensity depending on the position of the food on the plate: stronger cooking in the middle,
moderate cooking towards the outside.
e) When you have finished cooking turn out the flame by following the procedure described in
paragraph 1-C).
f) Caution: the cooking plate (12) remains hot for about 15 minutes after the burner has been
turned off. Do not handle it while it remains hot.
5 - MAINTENANCE - STORING
Once your appliance has cooled down completely:
1- Cleaning:
Clean the greasy parts with soap and water or a non-abrasive detergent. Do not use scou-
ring pads or abrasive products on the cooking plates or the water compartment as this will
damage the non-stick coating.
2- Storing:
a) Check that the lever (2) in is the "Off" position.
b) Store the appliance in a cool, dry and well-ventilated area, out of the reach of children.
6 - SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- Do not use your stove within 20 cm of a partition or combustible object. Always use
the appliance on a horizontal and stable surface.
- If you use your appliance in a dining room or kitchen, it must comply with ventilation
regulations which stipulate the quantity of air needed for combustion and for the pre-
vention of a mixture containing a dangerous amount of unburnt gas (2m
3
/h/kW).
- When using the "grill" cooking plate (12), always make sure that there is water in the
water compartment (11).
- Never leave the cooking plates heating without food longer than the pre-heating time
as this would damage the non-stick coating.
- Wait until the appliance has completely cooled down before handling and putting it
away.
7 - WHAT TO DO IF YOUR APPLIANCE DOES NOT WORK ?
In case of problem (the cartridge contains gas but the appliance fails to light)
a) If the spark of the piezoelectric igniter fails to occur, bring the electrode (10) closer to the bur-
ner (8) and check that there is no residue between the electrode and the burner.
b) In all other cases, do not try to repair the appliance yourself, bring it back to your local dea-
ler.
8 - TERMS OF APPLICATION OF THE GUARANTEE
The product is covered by a total parts and labour warranty for 2 years with effect from the pur-
chase date, excluding return transport charges that should be borne by the consumer. The war-
ranty applies when the delivered product does not conform to the order or is defective, from the
moment that the claim is accompanied by proof of purchase date (e.g. invoice, till receipt). The
product should be returned carriage paid, complete and assembled, to an authorised after-sales
service centre, with the claim describing the nature of the problem. A product for which a claim
is being made may be repaired, replaced or reimbursed, in full or partially. The warranty is null
and void and does not apply if the damage is caused by (i) incorrect product use or storage, (ii)
defective product maintenance or maintenance that fails to comply with the instructions for use,
(iii) repair, modification or servicing of the product by unauthorised third parties, (iv) the use of

1 - INBETRIEBNAHME
WARNUNGEN UND WICHTIGE HINWEISE
Folgen Sie zu Ihrer eigenen Sicherheit folgenden Hinweisen:
- Lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam durch, um sich mit dem Gerät vertraut zu
machen, bevor Sie die Gaskartusche anschließen. Befolgen Sie die Anweisungen der
Bedienungsanleitung sowie die Sicherheitsanweisungen auf den Campingaz
®
-Kartuschen
CP 250: Ihre eigene Sicherheit und die Ihrer Umgebung hängt davon ab.
- Bewahren Sie die Bedienungsanleitung auf, damit Sie bei Bedarf zu einem späteren
Zeitpunkt darin nachlesen können.
- Bei Kindern können selbst leichte Verbrennungen manchmal schwere Folgen haben.
Das Gerät erreicht bei Gebrauch sehr hohe Temperaturen. Achten Sie darauf, dass
Ihre Kinder das Gerät, wenn es in Betrieb ist, nicht berühren.
- Ihr Gerät darf ausschließlich mit den Campingaz
®
-Kartuschen CP 250 verwendet werden.
Die eventuelle Benutzung anderer Kartuschen kann gefährlich sein. Wenn Kartuschen ande-
rer Herseller benutzt werden, übernimmt die Firma Camping Gaz keine Haftung.
- Sie dürfen das Gerät nur in ausreichend belüfteten Räumen (mindestens 2 m
3
/h/kW) in
Betrieb nehmen. Achten Sie darauf, dass sich kein brennbares Material in der Nähe des
Gerätes befindet.
- Dieses Gerät ist nicht an eine Vorrichtung zum Ableiten von Rauch- und Abgasen ange-
schlossen. Es muss nach den geltenden Vorschriften installiert und angeschlossen werden.
Besondere Aufmerksamkeit ist dabei der Be- und Entlüftung zu schenken.
- Die Verwendung eines Gaskochgeräts beinhaltet die Produktion von Hitze und Feuchtigkeit
in dem Raum, in dem es eingerichtet ist. Daher ist auf eine einwandfreie Be- und Entlüftung
der Küche zu achten: Alle natürlichen Lüftungsöffnungen frei halten oder eine Zwangslüftung
(Absaughaube) installieren. Bei intensiver bzw. andauernder Benutzung des Geräts kann
eine zusätzliche Lüftung erforderlich sein, z.B. durch Öffnen eines Fensters oder eine wirk-
samere Lüftung, z.B. durch Erhöhung der Leistung einer vorhandenen Zwangslüftung.
- Sie dürfen das Gerät keinesfalls benutzen, wenn es undichte Stellen aufweist, schlecht funk-
tioniert oder beschädigt ist. Bringen Sie es zu Ihrem Fachhändler, er kann Ihnen die nächste
Kundendienststelle nennen. -Nehmen Sie niemals Änderungen an Ihrem Gerät vor und ver-
wenden Sie es nur für die Zwecke, für die es bestimmt ist.
- Keine Kochbehälter mit einem Durchmesser unter 12 cm oder über 28 cm verwenden. Keine
Behälter mit konkav oder konvex gewölbtem Boden verwenden.
Das Gerät nicht in Wohnwagen, Fahrzeugen, Zelten, Schutzdächern, Hütten und klei-
nen geschlossenen Bereichen verwenden.
Nicht beim Schlafen benützen, nicht unbewacht lassen.
Alle Produkte, die mit Gasverbrennung betrieben werden, verbrauchen Sauerstoff und
geben Verbrennungsrückstände ab. Ein Teil dieser Verbrennungsrückstände kann
Kohlenmonoxyd (CO) enthalten.
Kohlenmonoxyd ist geruch- und farblos, es kann Übelkeit und grippeähnliche
Symptome verursachen, eventuell sogar zum Tod führen, wenn das Gerät im geschlos-
senen Raum ohne geeignete Belüftung verwendet wird.
A) Vorbereitung des Gerätes
a) Nehmen Sie das Gerät und die Zubehörteile aus der Verpackung.
b) Stellen Sie Ihr Gerät auf eine feste und ebene Fläche.
c) Prüfen Sie, ob der Ein-/Aus-Hebel (2) auf Position "Off" steht. Nur dann kann die Kartusche
eingesetzt werden. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Gaszufuhr richtig geschlossen ist, indem Sie
den Reglerknopf (1) im Uhrzeigersinn bis zum Anschlag in die Position () drehen.
d) Das Kartuschenfach (7) öffnen.
e) Sicherstellen, dass die Dichtung im Innensitz des Expansionsventils vorhanden und in gutem
Zustand ist (Fig. 5). Das Gerät nicht verwenden, wenn die Dichtung fehlt oder beschä-
digt ist; es zum Händler zurückbringen.
f) Die Kartusche (4) einsetzen. Die Einkerbung im Kartuschenrand (5) muss unbedingt nach
oben zeigen und dem Metallplättchen (6) gegenüberliegen. (fig. 2)
g) Das Kartuschenfach (7) schließen.Falls ein Widerstand besteht bzw. das Kartuschenfach
nicht geschlossen werden kann, Punkt c) wiederholen. Wenn das Problem fortbesteht, das
Gerät zum Händler bringen.
B) Zünden
Das Gerät ist mit einer Piezozündung ausgestattet.
a) Den Ein-/Aus-Hebel für den Anschluss der Kartusche (2) auf "On" stellen und sicherstellen,
dass das Metallplättchen (6) richtig in der Einkerbung im Kartuschenrand (5) sitzt.Wenn Sie
vor dem Entzünden des Gerätes einen Gasgeruch oder ein Pfeifgeräusch wahrnehmen, tra-
gen Sie es sofort ins Freie an einen sehr gut belüfteten Ort ohne Brandquelle, an dem das
Leck gesucht und gestoppt werden kann. Die Überprüfung der Dichtigkeit Ihres Gerätes
muss immer im Freien stattfinden. Undichte Stellen niemals mit Hilfe einer Flamme, sondern
stets mit Seifenwasser suchen.
b) Nur bei Ausführung "S": Die Zündsicherung (3) während Punkt c) dauerdrücken.
c) Den Reglerknopf (A) gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen ( ) bis zum ersten spürbaren
Widerstand. Drehen Sie dann noch ein Stück weiter, bis Sie den Klick hören, der auf die
Funkenbildung hinweist. Findet keine Zündung statt, den Reglerknopf (A) auf Stellung ()
zurückdrehen und den Vorgang wiederholen. (Fig. 3)
d) Nach 3 erfolglosen Versuchen das Ventil durch Drehen des Reglerknopfes auf () schließen
und überprüfen, ob die Kartusche Gas enthält (Flüssigkeitsgeräusch beim Schütteln); dann
die vorhergehenden Schritte wiederholen.(Wenn die Kartusche leer ist, vgl. Kapitel 2
"Kartuschenwechsel ").
e) Nur bei Ausführung "S": Die dauergedrückte Zündsicherung (3) erst 10 Sekunden nach der
Zündung des Brenners loslassen.
f) Mit dem Reglerknopf (1) die Stärke der Flamme regulieren.
C) Ausschalten
a) Das Gasventil schließen: dazu den Reglerknopf in Uhrzeigerrichtung bis zum Anschlag ()
drehen.
b) Bringen Sie den Ein-/Aus-Hebel (2) in die Position "Off".

HINWEIS:
Die Kartusche immer an einem gut belüfteten Ort oder im Freien, fern jeglicher Flammen,
Funken oder Hitzequelle (Zigaretten, Elektrogerät, Herd... usw.) sowie fern von Personen oder
brennbaren Stoffen einsetzen oder auswechseln.

HERAUSGENOMMEN UND IN ANDERE CAMPINGAZ
®
-GERÄTE FÜR KARTUSCHEN CP
250 EINGESETZT WERDEN.
Die Kartusche kann, selbst wenn sie nicht vollständig entleert ist, vom Gerät entfernt werden
a) Durch Drehen des Reglerknopfes (1) im Uhrzeigersinn bis zur Position () sicherstellen,
dass die Gaszufuhr geschlossen und der Brenner (8) erloschen ist.
b) Durch Stellen des Ein-/Aus-Hebels (2) auf "Off" die Kartusche vom Gerät abtrennen.
c) Öffnen Sie das Kartuschenfach (7). Heben Sie die Kartusche am Ende an und nehmen Sie
sie heraus.
d) Eine nicht vollständig entleerte Kartusche niemals wegwerfen! Schütteln Sie die Kartusche,
um zu prüfen, ob im Inneren Flüssigkeit hörbar ist.
e) Vor dem Einsetzen einer neuen Kartusche überprüfen, dass der innere Sitz des
Expansionsventils nicht durch einen Nahrungsmittelrest verstopft ist.
f) Sicherstellen, dass die Dichtung im Innensitz des Expansionsventils vorhanden und in gutem
Zustand ist (Fig. 5)
g) Setzen Sie die neue Kartusche unter Befolgung der Anweisungen in Paragraph 1 - A)c) und d) ein.
Achtung: Bei einem Kartuschenwechsel während des Gebrauchs die heißen Stellen des
Gerätes (Brenner, Topfträger, Kochaufsätze...) nicht berühren!
3 - SICHERHEITSVORRICHTUNGEN AM GERÄT
a) Die Kartusche kann erst eingesetzt werden, wenn der Ein-/Aus-Hebel (2) auf "Off" steht und
der Reglerknopf (1) des Ventils geschlossen ist (Position £).
b) Wenn der Druck in der Kartusche zu hoch ist (z.B. aufgrund eines zu großen Kochgefäßes
auf den Topfträgern), verschließt eine integrierte Sicherung die Kartusche, und der Ein-/Aus-
Hebel (2) stellt sich automatisch auf die Position "Off".Wenn dieser Fall eintritt, muss die
Kartusche aus dem Gerät genommen und z. B. unter einem kalten Wasserstrahl abgekühlt
werden, bevor sie wieder benutzt werden kann. (siehe Abschnitt 2 "Kartuschenwechsel")
c) Bei der Ausführung "S" mit Zündsicherung wird das Ventil über ein Thermoelement ges-
teuert, das automatisch die Gaszufuhr zum Brenner unterbricht, wenn dieser ausgegangen
ist (z. B. durch Luftzug oder Überlaufen von Flüssigkeiten). Befolgen Sie die Anweisungen
in Paragraph 1-B), um den Brenner wieder zu zünden.
4 - FUNKTION "GRILLEN"
(separat erhältlich bzw. je nach Modell Lieferbestandteil)
a) Die mit Wasser zu befüllende Fettauffangschale (11) aufsetzen. Überprüfen, dass die
Wasserschale fest auf den Aluminiumarmen (9) sitzt (fig. 4)
b) Die Schale mit ca. 0,3 Liter Wasser befüllen und die Grillplatte (12) auf die Wasserschale
zentriert in Stellung bringen (Fig. 4)
c) Zünden Sie den Brenner gemäß Anweisungen in Paragraph 1-B) an und achten Sie darauf,
dass die Flamme unter der Grillplatte sichtbar ist.
d) Grillen: Die Grillplatte (12) besitzt eine hochwertige Antihaftbeschichtung, die fettarmes,
schonendes Garen ermöglicht.
Nach maximal 2,5 Minuten Vorheizen die Nahrungsmittel auflegen und mit dem
Reglerknopf (1) die gewünschte Grilltemperatur einstellen. Die Grilltemperatur kann auch
nach Lage der Nahrungsmittel auf der Grillplatte reguliert werden: innen stärker, außen
schwächer.
e) Wenn die Speisen fertig gegart sind, die Flamme gemäß den Anweisungen in Paragraph 1-
C) ausschalten.
f) Achtung: Die Grillplatte (12) bleibt auch nach dem Ausschalten des Brenners noch unge-
fähr 15 Minuten lang heiß. Fassen Sie die Grillplatte nicht an, solange sie noch heiß ist.
5 - WARTUNG - AUFBEWAHRUNG
Wenn Ihr Gerät völlig abgekühlt ist:
1- Reinigung:
Die fettigen Teile mit Wasser und Seife oder einem nicht scheuernden Reinigungsmittel säu-
bern. Keine Kratzschwämme oder Scheuermittel für die Garaufsätze und die
Fettauffangschale verwenden, da hierdurch der Antifhaftbelag beschädigt werden könnte.
2- Aufbewahrung:
a) Überprüfen, dass der Ein-/Aus-Hebel (2) auf "Off" steht.
b) Das Gerät an einem kühlen, trockenen, belüfteten und Kindern unzugänglichen Ort aufbe-
wahren.
6 - VORSICHTSMASSNAHMEN
- Ihr Kocher muss mindestens 20 cm von Wänden oder brennbaren Gegenständen
entfernt sein. Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine ebene und stabileFläche.
- Wenn Sie Ihr Gerät in einem Raum oder einer Küche verwenden, muss dieser/diese
den gesetzlichen Belüftungsvorschriften entsprechen (2 m
3
/h/kW).
- WENN SIE DIE GRILLPLATTE (12) VERWENDEN, IMMER SICHERSTELLEN, DASS IN
DER FETTAUFFANGSCHALE (11) WASSER VORHANDEN IST.
- ERHITZEN SIE, ABGESEHEN VON DER VORHEIZZEIT, DIE GARAUFSÄTZE NIEMALS
OHNE SPEISEN; DIE ANTIFHAFTBESCHICHTUNG KÖNNTE HIERDURCH
BESCHÄDIGT WERDEN.
- Das Gerät erst nach vollständigem Abkühlen reinigen und aufräumen.
7 - IHR GERÄT FUNKTIONIERT NICHT. WAS IST ZU TUN?
Die Kartusche enthält zwar noch Gas, das Gerät kann aber nicht eingeschaltet werden:
a) Wenn die Piezozündung keine Funken erzeugt, die Elektrode (10) an den Brenner (8) annähern
und sicherstellen, dass zwischen Elektrode und Brenner keine Rückstände vorhanden sind.
b) In allen anderen Fällen nicht selbst versuchen, das Gerät zu reparieren, sondern es dem
Händler zurückbringen.
8 - GARANTIEBEDINGUNGEN
Auf das Produkt leisten wir eine umfassende 2-Jahres-Garantie für Arbeits- und Materialkosten
ab dem Kaufdatum unter Ausschluss der Kosten für die Rücksendung des Produkts, die der
Verbraucher zu tragen hat. Die Garantie wird wirksam, wenn das gelieferte Produkt nicht der
Bestellung entspricht oder wenn es defekt ist, sofern der Reklamation ein Beleg für das
Kaufdatum (z. B.: Rechnung, Kassenbon) beigefügt ist. Das Produkt muss portofrei, vollständig
und undemontiert an eines der zugelassenen Kundendienstzentren zurückgeschickt werden,
wobei in der Reklamation das festgestellte Problem zu beschreiben ist. Das von der Reklamation
betroffene Produkt kann repariert, ersetzt bzw. ganz oder teilweise erstattet werden. Die Garantie
ist nichtig und wird nicht wirksam, wenn der Schaden zurückzuführen ist auf: (i) eine unsachge-
mäße Anwendung oder Lagerung des Produkts, (ii) eine falsche oder nicht mit der
Gebrauchsanweisung übereinstimmende Wartung des Produkts, (iii) eine Reparatur, Änderung
oder Wartung des Produkts durch nicht zugelassene Dritte, (iv) den Rückgriff auf Ersatzteile, bei
denen es sich nicht um Originalteile handelt.
