IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
When using electricalappliances, basic safety
precautions should always be taken including the
following:-
• Use the fan only for purposes described in the
instruction manual.
• To protect against electrical shock, do not
immerse the fan, plug or cordin water or spray
with liquids.
• Close supervision is necessarywhen any
appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from the electrical outlet when not in use,
when moving thefan from onelocation to
another, before putting on or taking off parts and
before cleaning.
• Avoid contact with any moving parts.
• Do not operate in the presence of explosive
and/or flammable fumes.
• Do not operate fanuntil fully assembledwith all
parts properly in place.
• To avoid fire hazard,NEVER place thecord
under rugs or any parts near an open flame,
cooking or other heating appliance.
• Ensure that the fan is switched offfrom the
supply mains before removing the guard.
• Do not operate anyappliance with a damaged
cord, plug, after the appliance malfunctions, or
has been dropped/damagedin any manner.
• The use of attachments not recommended or
sold by the appliance manufacturer maycause
hazards.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let the cord hang overthe edge of a table
or counter, or come into contactwith hot
surfaces.
• To disconnectfrom the electrical supply, grip the
plug and pull from the wall outlet. DO NOT pull
on the cord.
• Always use on adry, level surface.
• Do not operate without the fan grills properly in
place.
• Thisproduct is intended for household use ONLY
and not for commercial or industrial applications.
• Should the fan stop working, first check the fuse
in the plug (UK only) or fuse/circuit breaker at the
distribution board isoperating, before contacting
the manufacturer or service agent.
• If the supply cordor plug is damaged, it must be
replaced by themanufacturer or its service agent
or a similarly qualified person in orderto avoid
hazard.
• This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, orlack
of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety. Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

PRECAUTIONS RELATED TO THE USE
OF SCENTED OIL BOTTLES (SCENTED
OIL BOTTLES NOT INCLUDED):
• Avoid contact with eyes, skin, nose and mouth.
Contact with eyes can cause mildirritation; with
skin can cause mild irritation and dermatitis. If
ingested, can cause nausea. If inhaled, can
cause mild irritationof the respiratory system.
• Once a scented oil bottle has been used, it
should be disposed. Make sure tokeep hands
away from eyes,mouth and nose until carefully
washed.
•
Do not transport or store scented oil bottles near
foods, kitchen utensils,toys or clothing. Keep
them in adry and coolplace.
• Do not usethem in rooms near individuals who
have asthma, allergies or other respiratory
problems.
• Do not keep them near persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or pets.
• The hot scented oil bottle shouldnot be touched
and the aroma diffuser compartment shouldnot
be punctured with sharp objects or touched with
wet hands.

• Hands should alwaysbe washed afterhandling
the scented oilbottles.
• Read carefully and follow the important
safeguards indicated in the packaging of each
brand of scented oil bottles youuse.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Set fan on a dry, levelsurface.
2. Pull the retractable cord until it has reached
your desired length. Push the retract “ ”
button to shorten the length of the cord.
Please note that when pulling the cord out
you will feel the resistance once it has
reached its maximum length of 1.8 meters
(6 feet). Donot extend the cord beyond its
maximum length.
3. Plug power cordinto the appropriate outlet.
4. To turn the fan on:
A. The fan will beep indicating it is on. Press
the power button “ ” to start the fan.The
speed light of the last selection will light up
as long as the fan remainsplugged in. If
the fan is unplugged and pluggedback in,
it will automatically reset to speed 1.
B. Press the power button “ ” to start the
fan. The fanwill only startif one ofthe
speed buttons has already been selected.
If no speed has been selected, push your
desired selection to start the fan.
5. Selecting the speed:
A. The speed is adjustedby pushing the
speed button “12 3” to cycle the speed
mode into threespeed levels: Speed 1,
Speed 2 or Speed 3.
B. Pushbuttons 1, 2or 3 to select your
desired speed.
6. If you wouldlike to programthe timer: Press
the timer button “ ” to select the following
timer settings: 1 hour, 2 hours,4 hours, 8
hours or timer off (all lights off). The fan will
automatically turn off once the settime is
reached.
7. To oscillate the fan front grill, push the
oscillation button “ ” to turnit on. Tostop
the oscillation, pushthe oscillation button
“ ” again to turn it off.
8. Once the fanis on andyou have selected the
desired speed, youcan select breeze mode if
you would like the fan to mimic natural
breeze. To select this mode, push the breeze
& sleep button selecting breeze mode “ ”.
9. To select sleepmode, turn the fan on and
select the desiredspeed then pushthe
breeze & sleep button to select the sleep
mode “ ”. It cycles through the speed
settings in order.
Aroma Diffuser Function
10. If you wouldlike to use the aroma diffuser
function along with the fan, followthese
instructions to insert the scented oilbottle
(NOT INCLUDED WITHTHE PRODUCT).
A. Liftthe scented oilbottle compartment cap
up (Figure 1).
B. Insert the neck ofthe scented oilbottle with
opening facing up onto the self-adjusting
clip of the scented oil bottle compartment
until it locks into place (Figure 2).
Note: The bottle compartment has a self-
adjusting clip that will accept refillbottles for
all major brands of scented oil.
C.Close scented oil bottle compartment cap
(Figure 3).
11. Press the aromadiffuser button “ ” to turn
this function on or off. Thisfunction will cycle
off along with the fan. The fan will recall the
last setting used for the aroma diffuser. The
number of hours each scented oil bottle refill
will work should vary by brand (please refer
to the specifications of each brand
manufacturer). The scented oil will be
depleted over time. Replace the bottle when
needed. Once you are done using this
function, follow the instructions listed on
Step 7 making sure to remove the used
scented oil bottle refill first before you place
a new one to be used the next time you
wish to use this function.
12. Your Aroma Diffuser Fan also allowsyou to
adjust the intensity of the aroma diffusion. To
select the desiredsetting, move the Aroma
Diffuser Intensity Leverto the rightto increase
the intensity or to the left to decrease it.
REMOTE CONTROL
• The remote includes control buttons forPower
on/off “ ”, Speed Selections “ ”, Oscillation
“”, Breeze Mode “ ”, Timer “ ”,and
Aroma Diffuser on/off “ ”.
• The speed and aroma diffuser recall memories
will also work with the remote control.
• Your remote control requires 2 AAA batteries
(not included) for operation.
• Install the 2 AAA batteries in the rear
compartment of the remote, according to the
diagram shown inside.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
