features and controls of your vehicle.
This quick reference guide cannot replace the information contained
in the Owner's Manual; it is therefore important that you also read
the notes and warnings in the Owner's Manual.

Quick reference guide
The central locking system locks
and unlocks all the doors, the
boot lid and the tank flap. It can
be operated with the remote
control or by turning the key in
the lock.
Operating the radio-
activated remote control
Press the appropriate button for
about 1 second.

Unlocking button
Open one of the doors or the
boot lid within about 60 sec-
onds, otherwise the vehicle will
lock itself again automatically.

Unlocking button for boot lid
Press the button for at least
1 second.

Locking button
The turn signals will flash briefly
when the car is locked to con-
firm that the doors and the boot
lid are closed properly.

Folding out the master key
Press the release button.
Folding away the master key
Press the button and fold the key
away.
Note:
Press and hold unlocking
button on remote control (or
turn and hold key in lock on
driver’s door) to open all the
windows. Press and hold locking
button on remote control (or
turn and hold key in lock on
driver’s door) to close all the
windows and the sun roof.
Warning:
The doors and win-
dows cannot be opened from
inside the vehicle if it has been
locked from the outside.
Anti-theft alarm
The alarm system is automati-
cally
sseett
when the car is locked.
The alarm system is

automatically when you unlock
the vehicle with the remote con-
trol.
Note:
If you unlock the vehicle
by inserting the key in the
driver’s door, the ignition must
be switched on within 15 sec-
onds, otherwise the alarm will
be triggered. If you unlock the
boot lid by turning the key in the
slot, the alarm will be triggered

Locking and unlocking the vehicle

Adjusting seat height and
moving seat backwards or
forwards (electrical adjust-
ment)
Press the switch in the appro-
priate direction:
Raises/lowers the seat at
the front
Raises/lowers the seat at
the rear
Raises/lowers the whole seat
Moves seat forward/back
Adjusting belt height
Slide the guide up or down.
Tug the belt
to check that
the catch is
engaged pro-
perly.

Adjusting head restraints
Raising head restraint:
Take
hold of the sides of the head
restraint with both hands
and move it up as required.
Lowering head restraint:
Press the button on the side
of the head restraint and
move the head restraint as
required.

Adjusting angle of backrest
(manual adjustment)
Lean forwards and turn adjuster
wheel.

Adjusting lumbar support
Press the appropriate part of
the adjuster control to move
the lumbar support to the
desired position.

Adjusting seat height
(manual adjustment)
Pull the lever up to raise the
seat; press it down to lower the
seat.

Moving seat backwards
or forwards (manual adjust-

Lift the handle and move the
seat.

  • Hallo mensen wie kan mij helpen?
    Ik rijd nu een maandje een audi a4 sedan 1.8 turbo nu heb ik al 2 keer meegemaakt dat ik ergens rij en dat de auto in een keer heel erg begint te schokken en vervolgens niet meer goed kan sturen en de auto gewoon stopt en heelhuids stopt zo hard dat je een beetje met je hoofd over her stuur heen gaat.het is overigens een automaat,lijkt wel dat er ff geen controle meer over is en vervolgens sta je stil draai je sleutel van contact uit en aan en je kan weer zonder probleem verder rijden.heeft iemand hier ervaring mee?

  • Is het mogelijk de Nederlandstalige handleiding van een Audi A4 Avant van 2010 te krijgen. Ik heb alleen de Franstalige gekregen en zo goed is mijn Frans nu ook weer niet.

    • ben ook op zoek naar de Nederlandstalige handleiding heb de Duitse versie en mijn Duits is redelijk maar dit is toch moeilijker dan een film of zo te volgen dat gaat veel beter
