• Antes de arrumar o aspirador, enrole o cabo de

alimentação, carregando no botão (2) como indicado na fig.

4, tendo o cuidado de o acompanhar com a mão durante

esta operação.

Antes de efectuar qualquer tipo de manutenção verifique que o

cabo de alimentação esteja desligado da tomada de corrente

eléctrica.

ATENÇÃO!! Carregue no botão (5) somente no caso de querer

substituir o saco de recolha do pó, procedendo como indicado

no parágrafo - Substituição do saco de recolha do pó.

SUBSTITUIÇÃO DO SACO DE RECOLHA DO PÓ

O rendimento do aparelho é consequência do nível de

enchimento do saco. Quando se notar uma diminuição sensível

de aspiração é necessário substituir o saco.

Carregando continuamente no botão (4) levante a tampa (6)

como na fig. 5. Coloque a tampa por cima dum caixote do lixo,

carregue então no botão (5), o saco de recolha do pó soltar-se-

á do seu alojamento e irá cair no caixote do lixo (fig. 6).

INTRODUÇÃO DE UM NOVO SACO

Insira o bordo inferior do suporte de cartão do saco de recolha

do pó (7) na ranhura e carregue, introduzindo o bordo do

suporte de cartão nas duas ranhuras superiores.

Verifique se a abertura do saco coincide com a boca de

inserção (fig. 7).

Volte a colocar a tampa encaixando primeiro os dois ganchos

nas respectivas ranhuras e depois carregue para baixo até

fechar (fig. 7 bis).

SUBSTITUIÇÃO DO FILTRO DE ENTRADA DO AR NO

MOTOR (13)

Levante a tampa como indicado no parágrafo “Substituição do

Saco de recolha do pó”.

Extraia o filtro e substitua-o por um novo (fig. 8).

No caso do filtro estar danificado, isto é, se apresentar

lacerações, substitua-o.

Nota: recomendamos a sua substituição a cada 5 mudanças

do saco de recolha do pó.

SUBSTITUIÇÃO DO FILTRO DE SAÍDA DO AR (10)

Empurre a lingueta que se encontra na grelha de saída do ar (9)

e levante (fig. 9). Retire o filtro e substitua-o por um novo (fig.

10).

Volte a colocar a grelha de saída do ar.

No caso do filtro estar danificado, isto é, se apresentar

lacerações, substitua-o.

Nota: recomendamos a sua substituição a cada 5 mudanças

do saco de recolha do pó.

O porta-acessórios permite fixar os acessórios no corpo do

aparelho ou na pega.

Instalação na pega: introduza um dos anéis do porta-

acessórios na pega.

Repita esta operação para os acessórios que pretende ter à

mão.

Montagem no corpo do aparelho: faça deslizar a ranhura do

porta-acessórios na ranhura do alojamento do porta-acessórios

que se encontra na parte de trás do aparelho como na fig. 11.

Introduza a escova. Deslocando o selector que se encontra na

escova (B1) pressionando com o pé pode mudar a superfície

de aspiração sem ter de se inclinar. A posição com as cerdas

de fora é indicada para todos os pavimentos. A posição sem

cerdas é indicada para os tapetes e alcatifas.

Inconveniente

• A potência de aspiração reduz-se

Causa

• O filtro de entrada do ar ou a boca de inserção ou o tubo

flexível ou o tubo telescópico estão obturados.

• O saco de recolha do pó está cheio.

Remédio

• Limpe o filtro e retire as possíveis obstruções dos tubos.

• Substitua o saco de recolha do pó.

Inconveniente

• Saída de pó durante a aspiração.

Causa

• O tubo flexível não está ligado correctamente.

• Falta colocar o filtro de entrada do ar ou este foi mal

colocado.

Remédio

• Ligue correctamente o tubo flexível.

• Coloque correctamente o filtro de entrada do ar ou

substitua-o.

• Atenção! Não use o aparelho sem ter lido antes as

instruções para o modo de emprego.

• No caso de avaria ou de mau funcionamento, nunca tente

desmontar o aparelho e contacte o Centro de Assistência

Autorizado mais próximo.

• O aparelho não deve ser utilizado por crianças ou por

pessoal que não tenha conhecimento de como funciona.

• Nunca use o aparelho com as mãos ou os pés molhados ou

descalço.

• Para não comprometer a segurança do aparelho, utilize

somente peças de substituição e acessórios originais,

aprovados pelo fabricante.

• Não utilize o aparelho se o cabo de alimentação ou outras

partes importantes do aparelho estiverem danificados.

• Se o cabo de alimentação estiver danificado, deve ser

substituído pelo fabricante ou pelo seu serviço de

assistência técnica ou, em todo o caso, por pessoal

qualificado, de modo a prevenir todo e qualquer risco.

• Não aspire ácidos ou solventes pois estes podem causar

sérios danos aos materiais do aparelho e sobretudo nunca

aspire líquidos explosivos, gazes inflamáveis, pós

explosivos, gasolina, verniz, óleo combustível, os quais em

contacto com o ar aspirado podem causar explosões.

• Nunca use o aparelho ao ar livre ou em superfícies molhadas

ou para aspirar líquidos.

Opgelet! Het apparaat nooit gebruiken zonder het lezen

van de gebruiksaanwijzing.

• Bij eventuele problemen nooit zelf het apparaat proberen te

repareren maar ga naar uw dichtsbijzijnde dealer.

• Het apparaat niet te gebruiken door kinderen of door

personen die niet op de hoogte zijn van de werking.

• Het apparaat nooit gebruiken in combinatie met water.

• Om de veiligheid en werking te garanderen dient u alleen

originele onderdelen te gebruiken.

• Het apparaat niet gebruiken na vaststelling van een zichtbaar

gebrek (snoer/slang, enz...).

• Om elk risiko te voorkomen dient U bij een defekt aan het

snoer de reparatie te laten verrichten door een erkende

technische dienst.

• Het is verboden om brandbare, chemische, ontplofbare

stoffen op te zuigen die schadelijk zijn voor het apparaat.

• Het apparaat niet te gebruiken buitenshuis, op vochtige

ondergrond of het opzuigen van vloeistof.

• Harde en/of scherpe delen, warm as, brandende sigaretten

e.d. nooit zuigen.

• Niet te gebruiken in ruimtes waar ontploffingsrisiko aanwezig

is.

• Geen brandende delen opzuigen.

• Het apparaat niet onderdompelen in vloeistoffen.

Aspira Polti AS404 heeft een waarborg van één jaar na de

aankoopdatum, tegen fabrieksfouten en verborgen.

Defekten veroorzaakt door een verkeerd gebruik zijn

uitgesloten aan de waarborg. In geval van probleem neemt U

kontakt met de dichtsbijzijnde technische dienst. De waarborg

is niet van toepassing in geval van misbruik door onbevoegde

personen.

• Polti Spa is niet verantwoordelijk van problemen ten

gevolge van een gebruik van Aspira Polti AS404 niet

conform met de gebruiksaanwijzing.

• Het apparaat is gemaak volgens de normen voor het

recycleren. De verpakking voor vervoer mag niet bij

huishoudafval maar wel naar het verzamelpunt.

• Filters en stofzakken zijn te kopen bij technische diensten en

bij de beste verdelers.

• Het is raadzaam Polti originele onderdelen te gebruiken.

de pó segundo as descrições e instruções contidas neste

manual.

• Introduza a boca do tubo flexível (C) na boca de inserção (D)

(fig.1) rodando-o até ficar preso.

• Una os tubos de extensão (A) e ligue-os ao tubo flexível (C).

• Escolha o acessório mais adequado ao tipo de aspiração

que pretende efectuar e ligue-o ao tubo telescópico.

• Desenrole o cabo de alimentação (fig.2) puxando a ficha

(12) para si e ligue-o a uma tomada de corrente idónea.

• Carregue no interruptor geral (1) (fig.3) e comece a aspirar.

Este anel, que se encontra na pega, permite variar a potência

de aspiração mais adequada para limpeza que se pretende

efectuar ou inverter rapidamente a potência no caso de uma

aspiração acidental (por ex. cortinas). Aconselhamos o uso

com o regulador aberto para cortinas, tapetes, sofás, etc.

Rode o regulador até ficar descoberto o orifício na pega. Para

aspirar novamente com a máxima potência, rode o anel até

tapar novamente o orifício.

De firma POLTI S.p.A. behoudt zich het recht voor om zonder

kennisgeving vooraf technische wijzigingen of wijzigingen aan

de constructie aan te brengen die POLTI nodig acht.

Dit apparaat is geschikt voor het zuigen van stoffen als

beschreven in deze gebruiksaanwijzing.

• De ingang van de flexibele slang (C) in de aansluiting (D) (fig.

1) vast draaien.

• De verlengstukken (A) verlengen en op de slang (C)

aansluiten.

• De geschikte accessoire kiezen en op de telescoop (A)

aansluiten.

• De snoer los maken door uit de houder (12) de stekker te

halen en op het stopcontact verbinden.

• Op de hoofdschakelaar (1) drukken en starten met het

zuigen (fig. 3).

Op de handgreep het systeem maakt een snel daling van de

zuigkracht mogelijk in geval van verkeerde afzuiging (b.v.

gordijnen). De cursor op de handgreep draaien tot het openen.

Om weer met volle kracht te kunnen zuigen moet U de cursor

draaien tot het sluiten.

Het is raadzaam voor gordijnen, tapijten, meubels, enz... met

de open stand te werken.

• Aan het einde van het gebruiken, op de drukknop (2) duwen

als beschreven op fig. 4 en met een handje helpen om de

snoer goed op te rollen.

Alvorens onderhoud te plegen, haalt U de stekker uit het

stopcontact.

OPGELET! Uitsluitend bij vervanging van stofzak op de knop (5)

duwen, als beschreven in "vervanging van stofzak".

VERVANGING VAN STOFZAK

De kracht van het apparaat is afhankelijk van het niveau van stof

in de stofzak.

Als de zuigkracht sterk daalt moet U de stofzak vervangen. Op

de knop (4) duwen en het deksel (6) naar boven trekken als op

fig. 5.

Boven een vuilbak, op de knop (5) drukken en de stofzak laten

vallen (fig. 6).

PLAATSEN VAN NIEUWE STOFZAK

De onderkant van de kartonhouder (7) in de schijf introduceren

en duwen, tot het krijgen van de kartonhouder in de twee

bovenschijven.

Kontroleren dat de opening van de stofzak met de ingang van

de stofzuiger past (fig. 7).

Het deksel weer in de twee vergrendelingen introduceren en

naar beneden duwen tot het sluiten. (fig. 7 bis).

VERVANGING VAN HET LUCHTINGANGSFILTER

Het deksel openen als beschreven in "vervanging van stofzak".

Het filter verwijderen en door een nieuw vervangen (fig. 8).

Als het filter beschadigd is, moet U het vervangen.

Nota: het is raadzaam het filter te vervangen bij ieder 5

vervangingen van stofzak.

VERVANGING VAN HET LUCHTUITGANGSFILTER

Op de rooster luchtuitgang (9) duwen en naar boven trekken.

Het filter verwijderen en door een nieuw vervangen (fig. 9).

De rooster weer plaatsen.

Als het filter beschadigd is, moet u het vervangen.

NOTA: het is raadzaam het filter te vervangen bij ieder 5

vervangingen van stofzak.

De accessoirehouder maakt het plaatsen van accessoires op

het apparaat of op het handvat mogelijk.

Op het handvat.

Een van de vergrendeling van de accessoirehouder op het

handvat plaatsen.

Het zelfde doen met alle accessoires die nodig zijn.

Op het apparaat. De aansluiting van de accessoirehouder in de

schijf geplaast aan de achterkant van het apparaat introduceren

als in fig. 11.

De borstel aansluiten. Door op de omzetknop (B1) met de voet

te drukken gaat de opgezogen oppervlak veranderen zonder

hoeven te bukken. De open stand met borstel uit is geschikt

voor tegels. De gesloten stand met borstel binnen is geschikt

voor tapijten.

TROUBLE

• The suction power decreases

• Clean the filter and take out any obstructions in the tubes

• The suction flexible hose is not correctly connected

• The air inlet filter is missing or it has been wrongly placed

• Connect the flexible hose correctly

• Place the air inlet filter correctly or replace it

Attention! Do not use the appliance without reading the

instructions.

• In case of damage or malfunction, do not attempt to

disassemble the appliance but contact the nearest Polti

Authorised Service Centre.

• Do not allow children to use the machine or any others who

may not know how to operate it.

• Do not touch the appliance with wet hands or feet, or with

bare feet, when it is plugged into the mains.

• In order not to compromise the safety of the appliance, only

use original spare parts and accessories, approved by the

manufacturer.

• Do not use the appliance if the supply cable or other

important parts of the unit are damaged.

• If the supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the

manufacturer or by its authorized Service Centre.

• Do not suck up acids or solvents, which may cause serious

damage to the appliance and especially do not suck up

explosive liquids, inflammable gases, explosive powders,

benzines, paints, fuel oil, which may cause explosions if they

come in contact with the sucked up air.

• Do not use the appliance outdoors or on wet surfaces or to

suck up liquids.

• Do not suck up hard or sharp objects, hot cinders or lit

cigarettes or similar.

• Do not use the appliance in environments where there is

danger of explosion.

• Do not suck up objects on fire or that are hot.

• Never immerse the appliance in water.

The filters and the dust bags are sold by Polti authorized

Service Centres and by quality electrical retailers. We

recommend to use manufacturer's original spare parts only.

The Aspirapolti AS404 is guaranteed to the original purchaser

for one year from purchase date against manufacturing or raw

material defects.The guarantee is not valid if the appliance has

been misused in any way. In case of damage or malfunction,

contact the nearest Polti Authorized Service Centre.

Unauthorised alterations or repairs to the machine will

automatically invalidate this guarantee.

• Polti declines liability for any damage or accident

derived from any use of Aspirapolti AS404 which is not

in conformity with the instructions contained in this

booklet.

This unit is designed to operate on 240V, 50 Hz current only.

Connecting it to other power sources may damage the unit.

WARNING - This appliance must be earthed.

This appliance may be fitted with a non rewirable plug, if it is

necessary to change the fuse in a non rewirable plug the fuse

cover must be refitted. If the fuse cover is lost or damaged, the

plug must not be used until a replacement, available from the

appliance manufacturer, is obtained. It is important that the

colour of the replacement fuse cover corresponds with the

colour marking on the base of the plug. If the plug requires to

be changed because it is not suitable for your socket, or

becomes damaged, it should be cut off and an appropriate plug

fitted following the wiring instruction (below). The plug removed

must be disposed of safely as insertion into a 13A socket is

likely to cause an electrical hazard.

IMPORTANT

his wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the

following code.

• Green-and-yellow: Earth

• Blue: Neutral

• Brown: Live

As the colours of the wires in the mains leads of this appliance

may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the

terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:

The wire which is coloured green-and-yellow must be connected

to the terminal in the plug which is marked with the letter “E” or

by the earth symbol or green-and-yellow.

The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the

terminal which is marked with the letter “N” or coloured black.

The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the

terminal which is marked with the letter “L” or coloured red.

This appliance is intended for use as a vacuum for solids and

dust in accordance with the descriptions and instructions in

this manual.

• Insert the aspiration mouth of the flexible hose (C) into the

joint (D) (fig.1) turning it until it connects.

• Connect the extension tubes (A) to the flexible hose (C).

• Choose the required accessory and connect it to the

telescopic tube.

• Unwind the supply cable (fig. 2) by pulling it by the plug (12)

and connect it to the mains.

• Push the mains ON/OFF switch (1) and start vacuum

cleaning (fig. 3).

This device placed on the handle allows you to change the

suction power for the type of cleaning you want to do, or to

promptly release in case of accidental suction (ex. curtains). It

is suggested to operate with the variator open on curtains,

carpets, couches and so on.

Turn the variator until the hole on the handle is uncovered. To

suck up again at maximum power, turn the ring until the hole is

covered.

• Before storing the vacuum cleaner, rewind the power supply

cable by pushing the button (2) as shown in fig. 4.

Before any kind of maintenance, make sure that the supply

cable is not connected to the mains.

ATTENTION! Push the button (5) only if you want to replace the

dust bag, as indicated in the "replacing the dust bag"

paragraph.

REPLACING THE DUST BAG

The performance of the appliance depends on how full the dust

bag is. When the suction noticeably decreases, it is necessary

to replace the dust bag.

Push the button (4) and at the same time lift the cover (6) as

shown in fig. 5.

Position the appliance over a dust bin, then push the button (5),

the dust bag is released from the holder and will fall into the

dust bin (fig. 6).

INSERTING A NEW DUST BAG

Insert the lower edge of the dust bag cardboard support (7)

into the guide and push, inserting the upper edge of the

cardboard support into the two upper guides.

Check that the hole of the bag corresponds to the one of the

mouth (fig. 7).

Put the cover back by first making the two hooks go into their

grooves, then push downwards until you hear the click (fig. 7

bis)

REPLACING THE AIR INLET FILTER (13)

Lift the cover as indicated in the "Replacing the dust bag"

paragraph.

Take out the air inlet filter and replace it with a new one (10).

If the air inlet filter is damaged, replace it.

Note: it is recommended to replace the filter every five times

you replace the dust bag.

REPLACING THE AIR OUTLET FILTER (10)

Push the lever placed on the air outlet grill (9) and lift it (fig. 9).

Remove the filter and replace it with a new one (fig. 10).

Put the air outlet grill back in its position.

If the filter is damaged, replace it.

Note: it is recommended to replace the filter every five times

you replace the dust bag.

The accessories storage allows you to fix the accessories on

the appliance body or on the handle.

Installation on the handle: insert one of the rings of the

accessories holder on the handle. Repeat the same operation

for the accessories that you want to keep at hand.

Installation on the appliance body: make the groove of the

accessories holder run into the guide on the back of the

appliance, as shown in fig. 11.

Insert the brush. If you move the selector on the brush (B1) by

pressing with your foot, you can change the suction surface

without bending down. The position with the bristles outside is

recommended for all floors. The position without bristles is

recommended for carpets and rugs.

manuale istruzioni.

La POLTI declina ogni responsabilità se nella riparazione non vengono utiliz-

zati ricambi originali POLTI. Per ogni controversia è competente il Foro di

En caso de reparación el aparato debe ser enviado al servicio tecnico más

proximo acompañado de este certificado de garantia, que deberá ser timbrado

por el vendedor y rellenado totalmente para tener validez.

La compañia POLTI declina cualquier responsabilidad si en la reparación si no

se utilizan recambios originales POLTI.

La garantie est effective dans la mesure où ce produit est retourné franco, non

L’envoi doit être accompagné d’un avis d’expédition indiquant les anomalies
