appareil. Ainsi, vous venez d'opter pour un produit
de grande qualité. Le mode d'emploi fait partie de
ce produit. Il contient des remarques importantes
concernant la sécurité, l'usage et la mise au rebut.

Ce détecteur de bris de vitre est uniquement conçu
pour surveiller les portes vitrées et les fenêtres dans
le domaine privé et sert à dissuader les cambrioleurs
grâce à son signal d'alarme extrêmement puissant.
Ce produit n'est pas prévu pour l'exploitation commer-
ciale ou industrielle. Nous déclinons toute responsa-
bilité pour des dommages résultant d'une utilisation
non conforme de l'appareil et dans ce cas, aucune
garantie n'est accordée !

Remarques concernant l'utilisation
des piles

Ne jetez pas les piles dans le feu.
Ne court-circuitez pas les piles.
N'essayez pas de recharger à nouveau les piles.
Vérifiez régulièrement les piles. Des fuites d'acide
provenant de la pile peuvent sérieusement
endommager l'appareil.
Manipulez avec prudence les piles endomma-
gées ou usagées. Risque de brûlure chimique!
Portez des gants de protection.
Conservez les piles hors de portée des enfants.
En cas d'ingestion, consultez immédiatement un
médecin.
Retirez les piles de l'appareil, si vous ne l'utilisez
pas pendant une période prolongée.

Assurez-vous que l'appareil est éteint. L'interrup-
teur Marche/Arrêt
se trouve alors en position
"OFF“.
Appuyez légèrement sur le couvercle du compar-
timent à piles
et glissez-le quelques millimètres
vers le bas. Basculez-le ensuite et retirez-le.
Placez deux piles
de type AAA/Micro dans
l'appareil, conformément au repère dans le com-
partiment à piles.
Replacez le couvercle du compartiment à piles
et glissez-le de quelques millimètres vers le haut.
Montage
Le détecteur de bris vitre
se colle sur les vitres
à surveiller.
Dans un premier temps, demandez au fabricant
des vitres l'autorisation d'apposer des autocollants.
Une fois l'autorisation obtenue, détachez le film
protecteur de la face non imprimée de l'autocol-
lant d'avertissement double face
et collez-le
au dos de l'appareil. Le support pour l'autocollant
d'avertissement
doit être propre, exempt de
graisse et sec.
Placez le détecteur de bris vitre
dans le tiers
inférieur de grandes vitres normales, et au milieu
de vitres plus grandes. Pour de très grandes vitres,
utilisez 2 détecteurs de bris vitre
.
Avant le montage final, effectuez un test de fonc-
tionnement provisoire de l'appareil.
Placez l'interrupteur Marche/Arrêt
en position
"ON" et tapotez des doigts sur le boîtier de
l'appareil.
Dès que l'alarme retentit, placez l'interrupteur
Marche/Arrêt
en position "OFF" pour couper
l'alarme.
Si l'appareil fonctionne comme décrit, décollez
le film protecteur sur l'autocollant d'avertissement
double face
et collez l'appareil sur la vitre.
ATTENTION
N'appuyez pas trop fort sur la vitre, sans quoi
vous risquez de l'endommager ! Il existe en
outre un risque de blessure dû au bris de verre !
Pour allumer l'appareil, réglez l'interrupteur Marche/
Arrêt
en position "ON". La LED indicatrice
clignote rouge à un intervalle de 10 secondes
environ. La fonction d'alarme est maintenant activée
et en cas de fortes secousses, comme par exemple
le bris de la fenêtre, un signal d'alarme retentit
pendant 60 secondes.
Réglez le sélecteur de sensibilité sur la position
"
"
.
Si des problèmes de déclenchements inopportuns
survenaient, placez le sélecteur de sensibilité
en position
"
"
afin de réduire la sensibilité.
Pour éteindre l'appareil, placez l'interrupteur
Marche/Arrêt
sur la position "OFF". La LED
indicatrice
arrête de clignoter.
Contrôlez de temps en temps l'état de charge-
ment des piles en appuyant sur la touche de test
d'état des piles
. Si le témoin d'état des piles
passe alors
au vert, les piles sont suffisamment
chargées. S'il ne s'allume que faiblement ou pas
du tout, les piles sont alors épuisées et doivent être
remplacées par de nouvelles piles du même type.
REMARQUE
Lorsqu'une surveillance n'est pas nécessaire,
l'appareil doit alors être éteint à l'aide de
l'interrupteur Marche/Arrêt
afin de ménager
les piles.
Nettoyage/Entreposage
ATTENTION
Lors du nettoyage de l'appareil, veillez à ce
qu'aucune humidité ne pénètre dans ce dernier
afin d'éviter tous dégâts irréparables.
Nettoyez l'appareil avec un chiffon sec et doux.
Lorsque l'appareil n'est pas utilisé pour une longue
période, retirez les piles et rangez l'appareil
dans un endroit propre, à l'abri de l'humidité, non
exposé à l'ensoleillement.
Mise au rebut
Le symbole ci-contre d'une poubelle à roues
barrée montre que cet appareil est soumis à la
directive 2012/19/EU. Cette directive stipule
que vous ne devez pas éliminer cet appareil en fin de
vie avec les ordures ménagères, mais le rapporter
aux points de collecte désignés, aux centres de
recyclage ou aux entreprises de gestion des déchets.
Cette mise au rebut est gratuite. Respectez
l'environnement et mettez au rebut de
manière conforme.
Vous obtiendrez de plus amples informations auprès
de l'entreprise chargée de la collecte des déchets
près de chez vous ou de l'administration de votre ville
ou commune.

Ne pas jeter les piles usagées dans les ordures
ménagères. Chaque consommateur est

point de collecte de sa commune/son quartier ou
dans le commerce. Cette obligation a pour objectif
d'assurer l'élimination écologique des piles. Veuillez
remettre les piles uniquement dans un état déchargé.
Le produit récyclable doit être trié ou
rapporté dans un point de collecte pour
être recycle.

Si dans un délai de trois ans suivant la date d'achat de
ce produit, un vice de matériel ou de fabrication venait
à apparaître, le produit sera réparé ou remplacé gratui-
tement par nos soins, selon notre choix. Cette prestation

Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance.
You have selected a high-quality product. The operat-
ing instructions are part of this product. They contain
important information on safety, usage and disposal.
Before using the product, familiarise yourself with
all handling and safety guidelines. Use the product
only as described and for the range of applications
specified. Keep these operating instructions in a safe
place. Please also pass these operating instructions
on to any future owner(s).
Intended use
This glass break detector is exclusively intended
for monitoring glass windows in private properties,
and can be used to deter burglars by emitting an
extremely loud acoustic alarm. This product is not in-
tended for commercial or industrial use. The warranty
does not apply to damage caused by improper use
of the appliance!

Loud acoustic alarm! Subjecting your
hearing to this sound over long periods
could cause serious hearing damage!
Prior to use, check the device for visible external
damage. Do not operate a appliance that has
been damaged or dropped.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with limited physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or
knowledge unless they are supervised by a person
who is responsible for their safety, or receive instruc-
tions from this person on how to use the appliance.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
Do not make any unauthorised modifications or
alterations to the device.
Repairs to the device during the warranty period
may only be carried out by a customer service
department authorised by the manufacturer.
Otherwise no additional warranty claims can be
considered for subsequent damage.
Protect the device from moisture, spray and drip-
ping water and penetration by liquids.
Information on using batteries
DANGER
Do not throw the batteries into the fire.
Do not short-circuit the batteries.
Do not attempt to recharge the batteries.
Check the condition of the batteries at regular
intervals. Leaking battery acid can cause per-
manent damage to the appliance.
Special care should be taken when handling
damaged or leaking batteries. Risk of acid
burns! Wear protective gloves.
Store batteries in a place that is inaccessible to
children. If a battery is swallowed, seek medical
attention IMMEDIATELY.
If you do not intend to use the device for a long
time, remove the batteries.

Initial operation
Inserting/replacing the batteries
Ensure that the appliance is switched off. The on/off
switch
is then in the "OFF" position.
Press the battery compartment cover
lightly and
push it a few millimetres downwards. Then fold it
away from the appliance and take it off.
Insert two type AAA/Micro batteries
into the
battery compartment as shown.
Replace the battery compartment cover and
push it a few millimetres upwards.
Installation
The Glass break detector is glued to the glass
pane to be secured.
You should first obtain the window manufacturer's
permission to attach stickers.
Once you have this, pull the protective film off the
unprinted side of the double-sided adhesive warn-
ing sticker
and glue it to the rear of the appli-
ance. The surface to which the warning sticker
is affixed must be clean, free of grease and dry.
Place the Glass break detector
in the bottom
third for windows of normal size, and in the middle
if the window is large. If the window is very large
use 2Glass break detectors
.
Carry out a provisional function test of the device
prior to final installation.
Switch the on/off switch
to the "ON" position
and tap your fingers against the appliance housing.
As soon as the alarm sounds, switch the on/off
switch
to the "OFF" position to turn the alarm off.
If the appliance functions as described, remove
the protective film which is still in place from the
double-sided adhesive warning sticker
and
then use this surface to glue the appliance to the
window pane.
IMPORTANT
Do not press too hard against the window pane
otherwise you might damage it. Furthermore,
there is an risk of injury due to broken glass!
Switch the on/off switch
to the "ON" position
to turn the appliance on. The display LED
blinks
red at an interval of around 10 seconds. The
alarm is now activated and will sound an alarm
tone for around 60 seconds on strong vibration,
for example if the window is broken.
Set the the sensitivity switch to the
"
"
position.
If you have problems with incorrect triggering,
set the sensitivity switch
to the
"
"
position
to reduce the sensitivity.
The turn the device off, switch the on/off switch
to the "OFF" position. The display LED
will stop
blinking.
You should check the battery charge condition
every so often by pressing the battery condition
test button
. If the battery condition display
then glows green, the batteries are sufficiently
charged. If it only glows weakly or not at all, the
batteries are discharged and must be replaced by
new batteries of the same type.
NOTE
During times where monitoring is not necessary,
you should switch the appliance off with the on/
off switch
to save the batteries.
Cleaning/storage
IMPORTANT
To avoid irreparable damage to the device, en-
sure that no moisture gets into it during cleaning.
Clean the appliance with a soft, dry cloth.
If you decide not to use the appliance for a long
period, remove the batteries and store it in a clean,
dry place away from direct sunlight.
Disposal
The adjacent symbol of a crossed-out wheelie
bin means that this appliance is subject to
Directive 2012/19/EU. This directive states
that this device may not be disposed of in normal
domestic waste at the end of its usable life, but must
be handed over to specially set-up collection
locations, recycling depots or disposal companies.
This disposal is free of charge for the user.
Protect the environment and dispose of this
device properly.
You can obtain further information from your local
disposal company or the city or local authority.
Disposing of the batteries
Batteries should not be disposed of in the
domestic waste. Consumers are legally obliged
to dispose of used batteries at a collection point
in their town/district or at a retail store. This obligation
is intended to ensure that batteries are disposed of in
an environmentally responsible manner. Dispose of
batteries only when they are fully discharged.

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the
date of purchase. If this product has any faults, you, the
buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights
are not restricted in any way by the warranty described
below.
The validity period of the warranty starts from the date
of purchase. Please keep your original receipt in a
safe place. This document will be required as proof of
purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within three
years of the date of purchase of the product, we will
either repair or replace the product for you at our
discretion. This warranty service is dependent on you
presenting the defective appliance and the proof of
purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the
fault and its time of occurrence.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product
will either be repaired or replaced by us. The repair or
replacement of a product does not signify the beginning
of a new warranty period.
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected
under the warranty. This also applies to replaced and
repaired components. Any damage and defects present
at the time of purchase must be reported immediately
after unpacking. Repairs carried out after expiry of the
warranty period shall be subject to a fee.
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance

The warranty covers material faults or production faults.

deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling,
use of force and modifications/repairs which have
