iHDR-5050C on Ziggo cable. Reception was poor for BBC1 though OK for other channels. Also good on our second TV. I attempted to retune by removing all leads and card and leaving for 3 hours for it to reset. At the end of this it is completely dead and responds to nothing. What can I do? Advice would be appreciated. DJvR

A good reset is a factory reset. That's the only thing that will helps you to solve the problem.

The only thing you cab do now, is to set off te power for al least 20 minutes en try it again. You can repeat this for a copple of times, but when this not gone help, the 5050 must be send to Humax/Quantis. (forgive me mij bad Englisch).

It works now in general but BBC1 still not. I have tried a factory reset. Not enough to cure the problem Geantwoord op 10-7-2016 om 19:00

Cable and connectors are very important. Evenso the AOP (Home connect box) must be up-to-date. A good installation is very important cause there are many things that can disturb the signal, like Wifi, 3G, $g etc.
